Try revolution 9
Any Cream
Any Jimi Hendrix
Pink Floyd-Piper at The Gates of Dawn (Mono preferably, but stereo is alright as well)
Pink Floyd-A Saucerful of Secrets
Beatles-Everything between Revolver and The White Album
Grateful Dead-Anthem of The Sun (Either the 68 mix or 71 remix)
Grateful Dead-AOXOMOXOA (Preferably the original 69 mix but the 71 remix is alright as well, but not as good)
Grateful Dead-Live/Dead (Side 4 can be a little jarring, but this album was made for acid heads)
Start out with those.
Shpongle - Are You Shpongled?
Good luck :)
Magical Mystery Tour is the most perfect album for a acid trip
People don't usually associate The Beach Boys with tripping on acid, but I would recommend Smiley Smile, and, if you can find it, The Smile Sessions.
Play those and Sgt. Pepper back to back (You'll preferably want Sgt. Pepper in Mono, though)
>thinking Sgt. Pepper's is good
Might as well just take some cyanide instead
Boards of Canada-Music had the Right to Children. Thank me later.

Nothing is going to grow extra trippy sounding drums or whatever. Play something you know you'll like that has a lot of effects within the music. If you can't come up with anything, here's stuff that I really grooved to on shrooms while I drove to get my then gf some doughnuts:
Tune yards-nikki back
Zach Hill-FACETAT
I imagine Guerilla Toss-GT ultimate would be good
I heard any Tobacco or BMSR is gold from someone I only just recc'd to (dude was a metalhead ffs)
Just to reiterate, you could probably really enjoy something you've already visited a lot, it's all about the mood, really
Long Season
Has to be the live version
I made an 8 hour long playlist for when I took acid for the first time and made it flow really well. Here's the first twenty tracks
1. David Bowie - Space Oddity
2. The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
3. The Flaming Lips - Riding to Work in the Year 2025 (Your Invisible Now)
4. Panda Bear - Take Pills
5. The Beatles - Octopus's Garden
6. The Olivia Tremor Control - Opening (from Black Foliage)
7. The Avalanches - Wildflower/Harmony
8. The Olivia Tremor Control - A Peculiar Noise Called "Train Director"/Combinations
9. The Beatles - Getting Better
10. The Avalanches - If I Was a Folkstar/Colours
11. Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Beverly Kills
12. Daft Punk - Funk Ad
13. Gorillaz - Superfast Jellyfish/Empire Ants
14. Daft Punk - One More Time/Aerodynamic/Digital Love
15. LCD Soundsystem - Get Innocuous!
16. Prince - Let's Go Crazy
17. Animal Collective - Summertime Clothes
18. The Beatles - I Am the Walrus
19. The Beach Boys - Do You Like Worms (Roll Plymouth Rock)
20. The Mama's and the Papa's - California Dreamin'
I can post the rest if you'd like though it'll take awhile
this
just don't
Pop Punk? I dunno who cares? Acid is about getting in touch with nature and pretending like you believe in god for an evening. If you want to enhance music smoke weed, do coke, or pop molly. Jesus you guys don't know shit about drugs, are you underage?
Do yourself a favor and get a 5.1 setup and listen to the surround mixes of these albums:
>Dark Side of the Moon
>Pet Sounds
>Sea Change
>The Soft Bulletin
>Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Don't get me wrong, stereo is great, but the added channels are so much more immersive.
listen to trout mask replica
Aura Blaze
Pink Floyd (Dark Side Of The Moon, Echoes, The Division Bell, Obscured by Clouds, A Saucerful of Secrets)
Tame Impala
Pretty normie tier, but it's good to have nothing too extreme for a first trip.
I go insane whenever there is no music during a trip, so make sure you have a playlist ready or some way to change the music seamlessly.
I've always enjoyed this, but the best thing for acid is to go outside and enjoy nature, it will be such a better experience
I'd recommend listening to whole albums on LSD, not just assorted songs.
Both SAW albums are great for it.
If you don't listen to prog while on acid, you shouldn't even bother imo.
Listen to the Grateful Dead - Europe '72 album.
And, this Dark Star is, imho, the best ever recorded.

don't ruin it with music, don't be a massive tool. Go outside, visit an uncrowded park, or some quiet woods.
There are things that are much greater than sounds produced by humans
