There is a lot of talk about "white supremacists" in the US right now. Personally, I don't know a single person who is a white supremacist. But I have been noticing some really racist shit getting posted on facebook, all of it by my more liberal friends, and always against whites. If you changed the title of any of the articles they post from "white" to "black" you would get labeled a racist. Can you imagine if the title of the article said "Has America finally accepted the rage of black men?" I consider myself a liberal. I support gay rights. I support the right to abortion. And I definitely believe in global warming. But I can't get behind this racism and I'm honestly a little afraid to confront my friends because they're gong to call me a racist. I work for a non-profit group and I would probably get fired just for starting a dialogue.
