The sample in 2:34am sounds very good, and the bass is really fitting, but I feel that the hi hat's don't fit at all, while the snare does a little bit better. I think that it would sound very good if you could sample your own drums. The huge difference between the sample and the drums are a turn-off imo.

Not the bad first try at all. Although I feel it needs a bit more work in terms of song structure and instrumentation choice - some instruments just work better with each other than others.
