The caesar is never wrong.
Literally Hitler!
let an autistic mailman who murders everything into the same tent as him
Hitler lost. Caesar will not.
...
Caesars legion caesar or actual caesar?
Tossing Joshua Graham off the dam a blazin'.
It gained him absolutely nothing, and he lost one of his best men in the process
>forbids the use of medicine, except when get gets sick
>all women are slaves, which sounds good at first, but creates sustainability problems (inb4 LOL SO EDGY I HOPE HUMANITY DIES OFF)
>keeps control over tribe gangs with bribes and threats instead of violence and ass kicking
>probably bangs little boys
the list goes on
Graham fucked up and keeping him around would have sent the wrong message to his armies.
Didn't wear armor
>did not wear a bodyarmor in the senat
Let a known psycho perform brain surgery on him
Putting croutons in a salad.
>enslaving women creates sustainability problems
Explain.
dude, even the game explained it. do you just X your way through dialog?
ill just do some of the more obvious shit because I'm not going to type a book. a slave is a slave and the child of a slave is a slave. just because you aren't a slave doesn't make your child with a slave not a slave. are you going to tell me that the next generation of soldiers are going to be born from slaves? what kind of loyalty will that inspire? "my mom was a slave....maybe slavery isn't such a good thing. maybe Caesar isn't such a good guy."
They'll do as their told, or be lashed to a cross. Fear is the strongest motivator.
so an army of slaves then? because that worked out so well in the past? fear only keeps men in line if those men have something to lose. as far as a slave is concerned, they stand to gain everything if they revolt.
sure, it might work at first, but it isn't sustainable. at some point, you are going to have to redefine slavery and what it means to be a slave, otherwise you will collapse in a revolt.
They'll be slaves the same way Mongols were.
Why would they revolt? Free pussy. Free food. Free to kill.
The major problem with the legion is that when he dies there's no worthy replacement. Caesar is very smart and very cautious. Lanius is a complete violent moron that has no skill has a leader
>no skill has a leader
He's a Legate. He's won many battle. Quit talking shit bout my boi.
as it stands, the legion does not treat slaves as the Mongols did. they treat slaves with a classical western attitude. so as I said, without reform, the legion is not sustainable.
also, I doubt you know much about the Mongol system of slavery.
He's a very good army leader, don't get me wrong. But that's it, he lacks the skill to lead a civilization to glory because he's not very smart
ur boi is dead and I'm wearing his hat.
B-but they killed innocents in Nipton
>corruption, degeneracy, and whoring
>innocent
Too much dressing on his salad, always.
dude literally let sandniggers into europe
Nipton was a corrupt shithole, the mayor was an absolute degenerate and the powder gangers are a gang of school bullies. They deserved it. For Caesar!
So he'll be a warlord for awhile. This doesn't mean the end of the Legion.
Yes!!!! Hahahahaha
Julius Caesar or Caesar Augustus?
Two very different answers
Of course it does. The rest of the legion won't glorify Lanius and it will start a war inside the legion. They will just self destruct.
Also, it's really hard to find a worthy replacement for Caesar ..
>They will just self destruct.
Absolutely not. They might fragment, sure, but they won't "self destruct". Some will turn to raiding, others will try and refore their former tribe before being assimlated by Caesar... traders, slavers, ect.
The Great Khans are the best example of this.
When Caesar dies they will certainly fragment and that will severely damage the legion. Even if they don't they need resources and lanius is not smart enough to either create a self sustaining society or to trade with other societies.
>they need resources and lanius is not smart enough to either create a self sustaining society
I... what? When has the Legion even a self sustaining... or a society?
-ever been-
What are they then? They all identify with the same flag and the same ideologies, they have hierarchies, they've a lot of territory in Arizona and Utah... Are they not a society?
They're a nomadic army, as he says himself. And the only structure they have currently are Caesar himself and his Legates.
>And the only structure they have currently are Caesar himself and his Legates
That's not correct, there are a lot of legionaries that have different tasks. And there are still the slaves and women, and maybe more idk.
Also they can't conquer forever, at some point they need to stabilize and become self sustaining or either they'll run out of resources or get themselves destroyed by a more powerfull civilization.
Caesars end game is similar to how the NCR grew to power. Only instead of gradually bringing others into his fold with "democracy", he does it forcefully and kills any identity they once had by stripping it away.
At one point he describes some of the tribes he's met were so backwards that slavery was a godsend.
I agree, they are similiar. The only problem i see is that the legion revolves around Caesar and his image, the NCR is much less centralized. So if someone important from the NCR dies it's much more easy to replace them.
>inb4 not a big NCR fan, i simpatize more with the legion
get a brain tumor.
"Your salad sucks."
Grew a tumor.
Only problem there is not putting a bullet between his eyes first.
Muggins here had to go finish him off to get through the dlc as quickly as possible to pickup that sweet unique ranger uniform.
He died like a bitch anyway, can't have someone like that in charge of anything besides eating lead.
Not teaching his legionaries manners. They gave me attitude in Primm so I killed them when I saw them. HOUSE ALL THE WAY BBAAABBBY
Equipping their soldiers with loin clothes and machetes against full auto assault rifles and power armors
Except he had control. No. What he actually did wrong is when you play agains caesar he still gives you the chip and lets you into the bunker, although he should have let his minions go there and never trust the mailman with the chip, because there was no reason to.
