I like your taste user.

Is the roger waters album that good?

I don't think I cared much for any of those albums.

The only right answer.

>he hasnt listened to any music released in 2017

Please call me a filthy pleb. I get off to it.

le hipster face. i know 5 albums from your "aoty" chart. i just remind that 'good' is ballance between art and popularity

Mine so far. I havent listened to a lot of 2017 albums.

fight me pt 2

>aoty thread

kwaity is so good
i didn't think async was particularly memorable

wrong thread. i know the feels. I accidentally posted my chart composed mainly of power pop and indie to /metal/.
-grimes, including ITAOTS
+modest mouse, vampire weekend

no i have.

mfw Richard Dawson - Peasant is the most mentioned album in aoty2017 threads

have you ever heard of The Jonast Brothers? =]

I've heard two albums I like from this year.

Flying Microtonal Banana and A Crow Looked At Me. Go ahead, shoot me.

you should try Brand New - Science Fiction. It's literally album of the decade

>AOTY Thread
>No one post a chart with japanese breakfast's new album
I'm disappointed with you, anons.

Haven't listened to a single one of those.
+坂本龍一, Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, Slowdive
Still need to listen to new Ariel Pink
+Blanck Mass, Slowdive
+Jefre Cantu-Ledesma
I hardly recognise any of those so good job?

Bump

>indie rock album
>2017
>2 good songs
makes you think

important is different from good. the beatles are regarded as the most important band of all time. ok computer is regarded as the most important album of the 90's.

Because it's fantastic

Haven't seen this mentioned. Its getting a lot of criticism for not fitting in with their style but i think its a solid album and will soon become one of my favorite by them

I love it.
I dunno why people say it doesn't fit their style, each album has it's own style, one of the reasons I love QotSA and why I respect Josh Homme as an artist.
I mean, shit, conpare Era Vulgaris to Songs for the Deaf. They do a different style every album.
I enjoyed Villauns, and it's welcomed to the QotSA discography in my ppinion.

I liked their 2016 album a lot better but Daruma Ringo-san is still super solid.

eh that feist album was alright
Really liked Dedicated to Bobby Jameson
Meant to dl that dummy album but forgot what it was
Excited to listen to this album
Still need to listen to that Brand New
Brutalism was good
mister yellow was good
I really didn't like it. I think I only like Xen by arca
magnetic fields was good
black origami was good
You know I was actually pleasantly surprised with Goths. I was so disappointing in Beat the Champ. I think that was my least favorite album of 2015
>Kasabian
>tangible rays
>Charli XCX
>Tennis
my man
Holy shit I listened to that Kid Koala album for the first time 2 days ago and I was so surprised with how good it is. I'm going to listen to it some more but it will probably be top 3 for me this year
I really really really wanted to like Relaxer because I thought the album cover was such a cool reference but I just couldn't like the album

>king gizz and smith street band.

i'm an aussie and refuse to take either of those bands even slightly seriously. i saw that fat fuck lead singer of smith street opening for frankie cosmos earlier this year and he was the sweatiest and most obnoxious musician i've ever seen. he ended the set with a decent song about this dog that died in space. googled it and he got the story completely wrong tho. he's just tryna be jeff mangum.

im not a massive smith street fan, that album grew on me though
if you like the dog song, he has an album called Laika (also the title of the dog song), more singer songwriter type stuff. i like it more than his smith street stuff - dunno might change your mind

I think youre the first person who's agreed it me about Kasabian

Tennis was a significant step down for me but that's not saying too much since they made my top 15 of 2014. I'm really sorry I missed their show.
