ITT: Eno Numbers

I have a theory that just like how every famous person is only 7 steps away from Kevin Bacon, Eno is the center of the music universe, and any musician is only at most 7 people away from having a connection to Brian Eno, through collaborations and other links. Post a musician and I'll try and connect them to Eno in the fewest moves possible. Other anons can join in and help as well if they want.

This one I'm interested in - the pillows.

This is the best thread on Sup Forums right now.

Interesting and legitimate theory, considering Eno's vast body of work.

Sufjan Stevens

There was a website which would automatically make the connections between two artists through collaborations and etc. Try Googling it.

The other thing that makes him such a great candidate as that he spans both the pop/experimental and electronic/rock dichotomies.

Covering other artists isn't an actual connection, that's like me saying I'm connected to Brian Eno bc I sang along to St. Elmo's Fire

not as fun though

That only does it through covers and samples though, rather than through collaborations and the like

and that doesn't even show any velvet connections, unless i'm blind
