I wish /dark/ was more popular on Sup Forums, one of the best threads by far
I consider myself a huge fucking lover of industrial but I just really hate skinny puppy. What's wrong with me bros?

They are more EBM and Electro influenced than pure industrial, so maybe you don't like that.
nah I fucking love EBM and electro, look at the stuff I posted
Which EBM artists should I be listening to if I'm into acidy synths and Detroit Techno? I only really listen to Front 242 and wumpscut
if you want acid synth you're gonna have to jump straight into 2000s harsh EBM for cybergoths
...
>I wish /dark/ was more popular
me too, the threads always seem to die so young
Are you guys into this bitch at all? I haven't listened to too much but have always just been somewhat intrigued.
Only in small doses. I'll get through maybe half an album and be like, that was cool but I've had enough.
Yeah, I get the impression it's novelty type shit.
I really liked the ''Metrum'' track. anything more like it?
i NEED a /dark/core gf
What about post industrial as a genre itself?
haha whats this? did gothspammer move on to twitter?
These two tracks from the new LCD Soundsystem American Dream album sound like a happier Joy Division / earlier New Order.
i like you
Thanks, man.
>tfw no pocket-sized trad goth gf who smokes tiny cigarettes
He's pretty good but it's not something you put on loop
>2000s harsh EBM for cybergoths

There was some 3 piece industrial group from NYC that someone posted here awhile back. They've been around since the early 80s and are still going. In the late 80s/early 90s they had more of an industrial metal sound. Anyone know the name of this group?
That's like half of the scene you're describing there buddy
Sorry dude, I'm from NYC but can only think of local Goth bands that lasted that long. Any other details you remember?
youtube.com
I remember one picture of the band had the 3 members in an alley, one of the guys was a little fat and was wearing a black trenchcoat and had shades on.
What exactly is this Sup Forums?

Gnaw Their Tongues - L'arrivée de la Terne Mort Triomphante
Triarii - Muse in Arms
Rome - Masse Mensch Material
Laibach - Opus Dei
Der Blaue Reiter - Le Paradise Funèbre, L'envers du Tristesse
Opus Dei is my favorite album on this list ('specially the last few tracks). D.A.F. is another cool band.

She's the cutest but not the best artist

What? Did I miss something? The albums I've heard were all pretty standard electro industrial
most of them have martial rhythms, a martial aesthetic, and are supposed to remind you of old war films. And on top of that, they don't really sound like the rest of electro industrial.
also it's instrumental, not programmed on a computor.
Eeeeh they sounded pretty much like the rest to me... But I've only heard like two albums.
even one album should be enough for you to notice that they don't sound like the rest of electro industrial,
I mean I don't know what exactly do you call electro industrial but this stuff really isn't that special at all
youtube.com
Even the synth sounds pretty close to a Virus..
it's special enough to be instantly recognizable as Feindflug
But you can say that about tens of bands in the genre.
Whatever. I'm not gonna shit up a first good goth thread in ages with an argument.
Breddy gut. Gutted I missed them both times they played here, especially when they opened for Deafhaven.
I like to play a game where I take the first albums by Sisters of Mercy and Fields of the Nephilim, then shuffle them and play them back blind so I have to guess which band is which. I'm getting a little bit better.
I think hes amazing. Id say the best way to start (if youre interested) would be "Es reiten die toten so schnell", "La chambre d'echo" and Les Fleurs du mal

>when you realize this song is literally about Boss of this Gym
someone should stream The Crow or something so we can all watch stuff together

What are some notorious /dark/ sellouts?
Echo & the Bunnymen related, I grew up thinking they just made shitty '80s pop for teenage girls, this album completely blew me away when I first heard it.
you should be able to hear it on the drums alone
And the gutars, vocals, and basically everything. Seriously how does this sound anything like Sisters?
helo Igre is tront
your biggest fan. remember when i ripped off dig it lol
Fucking shit is Van Darkholme /dark/?
I'm sorry, I'm somewhat retarded so it's a fun challenge for me.
Saw these guys recently, a few months before saw Skinny Puppy and Einsturzende Neubaten
he's hired to fulfill our deep /dark/ fantasies
I vastly prefer FLA to ENB and Skinny Puppy desu
Einsturzende have the best shows. No act in this scene tops them theatrically.
Der Eisenrost are still better at banging on car wheels
Christian Death
Misfits
Tragic Black
AFI
...
is this the most pre-teen thread ever? do you call dress up like a matrix character and hope you're the edgiest kid in your middle school?
...
>Einsturzende have the best shows
This
>ywn go to an 80s Einsturzende Neubauten show and watch them set the stage on fire
My mother dressed up like this and wore goth makeup when she was in school, she loves all these bands, maybe it's in the genes because I like them too, I don't bother with subcultures or dress codes though.
That's not Hijokaidan, user
No, i dress like a cheap hooker.
I think about this everyday.
and live in a gated community lmao
Hijokaidan weren't the only ones with destructive concerts
...
>it's pronounced "Suzie" and not "seeoocksie"
meh
fuck that noise Imma call her syooksee cause it's cute
