Self Titled Edition

>What have you been listening to recently?
>What's your favourite prog self titled release?
>Are traps truly gay?

Let's see how long this one lasts.

Previous thread for anyone who cares:

>what have you been listening to lately
metal and math rock
>favorite self titled
Gentle Giant I guess
>are traps truly gay
yes

/fags/

Lots of Genesis and King Crimson
Gentle Giant?
Yes and no, the dick only makes it better

I'm kinda late for this, but what did you guys think of the new Steven Wilson record?

>What have you been listening to recently?
Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells) and an argentinian prog band called "Invisible".

>What's your favourite prog self titled release?
Rush (?) i guess the yes album doesn't count...

>Are traps truly gay?
no way

>What have you been listening to recently?
I've been really getting back into Skinny Puppy again. I am currently listening to the Cure's Faith album as a I type this

>What's your favourite prog self titled release?
Rush's s/t even though it's not really prog

>are traps truly gay
extremely

>two shit OPs in a row
/prog/ will never take off if you keep doing shit like this

I'm open to suggestions.

well take your le epin trap meme and unrelated animeshit and fuck off

>can't handle a joke
i bet you think rush is a good band too

Camel

these prog makes grills desert-dry posts are making me self-conscious, bros

>What have you been listening to recently?
Arx Pilosa, the American hyper version of Cardiacs
>What's your favourite prog self titled release?
Yes' self titled? Not prog though, so Gentle Giant's self titled. I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting about a better one though.
>Are traps truly gay?
I would say 50/50

Che, boludo

It never did, it always died or ended up being my genre bickering bitch.

prog always makes girls dry, bro

you either accept it like a man or pretend you don't like it like a coward

>What have you been listening to recently?
Picked up ITCOTCK reissue, sounds fucking awesome, also snagged a 67 pressing of Days of Future Passed.

>What have you been listening to lately?
The Smiths. I've been listening to them way too much. Kinda makes me wonder if there's a prog band like them.

Oh, and tricot. Always a fun band.

>What's your favorite prog self-titled release?
Soft Machine's first album.

>Are traps truly gay?
>draw a girl
>give it a dick and call it a guy
The biggest offense here is the butchering of human anatomy.

if you believe hard enough one day you'll find a qt who also loves prog

If you wanna find prog qts, easiest path is prog shows.

>the smiths
>prog

Not prog, but it's what I've been listening to lately. That said, Marr and Rourke are easily top 5 guitarrists and bassists of all time. Also:
>Kinda makes me wonder if there's a prog band like them.
So, yeah, I know they're not prog.

...

>What have you been listening to recently?
Today I'm listening to an Argie group I could only find on RUTracker, Las Orejas y la Lengua and their second album Error.
>What's your favourite prog self titled release?
Maxophone by Maxophone without a doubt
>Are traps truly gay?
Yes and not the band this time

>What have you been listening to recently?
The new Alvvays, LCD Soundsystem, and The War on Drugs albums
>What's your favourite prog self titled release?
ELP - ELP
>Are traps truly gay?
Yes and no. Yes cause they have dicks, but no cause their feminine appearance confuses your biological attraction to them in the initial stages.

What do you guys think the best Peter Gabriel solo album is? My vote goes to pic related. The Family and the Fishing Net is a god tier song. Also, does anyone know what the fuck this cover is supposed to be?

I heard Melt and thought it was fucking awful or at least a huge step down from Genesis, but I haven't heard his other albums yet

>What have you been listening to recently?
elp, cardiacs, captain beefheart, zappa
>What's your favourite prog self titled release?
Gentle Giant?
>Are traps truly gay?
Why does the /prog/ op always have to be shit?

Oh yeah meant to say it's an awesome as fuck cover though and I'm pretty sure the cover you were asking about is supposed to be a dude caught on security cam with a mask like a robber

Makes sense. And yeah, I agree his solo career was definitely a step down from Genesis but there's still some really solid stuff in his discography. You should check out Car.

>What have you been listening to recently?
Avant-Prog and Canterbury mostly
>Favorite s/t
Szobel
>Are traps gay?
not really

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll make sure I'll check it out tonight or tomorrow. If only there were something as good as The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway in his discog

Slovenian prog/fusion band, highly recommend it to everyone

You'd be hard pressed to find an album as good as that masterpiece.

listening to this right now, side one is top notch.

and i dont know if you'd call it prog rock specifically, but Faust's self-titled would be my favourite to answer the question

>All these people answering the questions.
I just put those up to take up space or as a joke. In previous threads people usually ignored them.

...

Yeah I'd also like to know it there is a prog band similar to The Smiths
