It's prog so it's bad. Prog is the most white genre ever, so fuckin lame
but they're mexicans
maybe helps explain why it's so bad
Memes aside, they are contenders for most underrated band of all time
It was always my favorite, I wish I had the leaks that came out before the release they were a bit different. Saw them a couple times back then, right after their sound effects guy died.
Tremulant is good too.

Mars are underrated, this for me is their best work up to this point.
stunning album. it blew me away when it first came out. the rest of their output was so-so.
It's great but I think Frances The Mute is a little better
Best Mars Volta album. Doesn't get enough credit on Sup Forums I'd say.
Flea plays bass if I remember
Indeed he does. John Fruciante plays on a few tracks too.
tend to agree on this.
This album was solid all the way through for me. Their later work had good songs but too much noise filler IMO.
It's really good but Frances the Mute is a masterpiece.
Holy fuck Omar has released 10 solo albums in 2017
This, I hate how much filler the title track has, and even though Mirada sort of has the same thing going on I like how the trumpets kick in
This. Frances has many great moments, but I feel like the noise/filler makes it a lot less cohesive than De-loused.
Although, the bookending of the album with 'Sarcophagi' is genius.
Also, it's missing the title track, which was released separately. Shame, because it's great.

This and Frances the Mute are some of my all time favorite albums
Mare Volta knows how to write catchy lines
Omar has released an insane number of solo albums.
EXOSKELETAL JUNCTION AT THE RAILROAD DELAYED
Salsa King Crimson is great. I really do prefer Frances the Mute and The Bedlam in Goliath, but Deloused in the Comatorium is a damn solid one. That said, if you did enjoy it, go to At The Drive-In; also a great band.
My favorite album of all time.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOOOO LONG FOR SOOOMEONE TOOO MEND ALL THE PAIN
>Mars Volta
>Underrated
Lurk more. They are one of the most popular prog bands today.
they mean in general not in this board you stupid tripfag
No, they were really popular in general too. The Widow was number 20 in the UK singles chart and 95 in the US
Identity politics is one hell of a drug
I thought the Omar was pr
>3 minutes of hearing a bell ring
Fuck this
First, who cares about "in general"?
Second, this
Facts:
- Frances The Mute is overrated but still good.
- De-Loused is better than Frances.
- Amputechture is their best album.
- Anyone who thinks that prog sucks and that "its the whitest genre" is a dipshit.
- Anyone who prefers John Frusciante over Omar-Rodriguez is a dipshit.
Any questions?
