The drums aren't the best, but this is not bad by any means. It's amazing that those who mixed it got every little element to fit so well considering at most times there are about 15 different noises/instruments happening at once.

The remix sounded pretty good, but it was a tad compressed and some of the songs sounded better with the dark murkiness (sounded more post-punk sounding), also "Beyond The Wheel" could have been heavier.

The fuck was Homme thinking? QOTSA has a cult fanbase and had practically nothing to gain from a "Sell-out" move. They've already been on commercials and video games and TV, all they had to do was stay true to their sound, at least in some sense. It doesn't help that ronson's production sucks on that project.

i dont think homme was trying to sell out. i think he genuinely believes ronson did a good job. each queens record has been different sound and this dance thing was what he was going for. all we can do is hope that the next record doesn't continue in this direction.
