>Subscription cuck
>Not downloading the tablet-for-mobile mod
>because I've got an apple music subscription
Because 100% of the albums I want to listen to are one click away on my hdd for free.
the UI sucks and I own all my music. I also prefer to listen to flac.
because i really like that other 30%
Who the hell downloads music now? Lmfao
There's no noticeable difference between 320 files and FLAC. Stop falling for memes
spotify premium is actually 320CBR? prove it
...
>spotify thinks that anything higher than 160CBR is extreme
well anyway, yes there are differences between 320CBR and FLAC with good equipment, suitable audio, and high volumes
>Normal
>96kbit/s
no ASIO or WASAPI output with PC client, can't even select which audio device to use
if you think you're getting anything close to 320 most of the time you're playing yourself
Because I can buy specific albums I want rather than paying for a service.
why?
I used to pay for it when i was squatting. I had a nice flat and housing is fucking cheap in Germany, but i was a dumb punk.
Me, but I'm a dj.
>Because I can buy specific albums I want for the same price each as spotify's subscription because I'm dumb as fuck
ftfy
I got Spotify premium because of the phone bullshit, how you have limited fast-forwarding and EVERYTHING has to be shuffled like that is such bullshit but it's marketing genius.

srsly
kek
I would rather buy one physical CD per month
>70% of the albums I want to listen to
kek. that's the main reason why. spotify's selection is turbopleb. anything i wanna listen to that's even somewhat obscure isn't on there
>us
self-promotion is against the rules, shill
No theres actually some pretty obscure shit, if you don't count 1920s Fluxus recordings or whatever
Streaming is for degerates.
that's b.s. unless they got much better in the last year or so. i stopped using it because their selection is wack.
They probably did because I've been surprisingly finding a lot of obscure stuff on there. Their Japanese music library fucking sucks, though.
>1920s
>fluxus
damn boy you got me shook
>(((us))))
What did you miss there? The only thing from the top of my head I can't find there are industrial albums of dead people where the rights are iffy like Atrax Morgue and most of Rozz Williams shit
Admittedly pulled a random time period out of my ass
>What did you miss there?
not him but their metal selection is pretty bad
If you don't DJ with records you aren't a DJ
spotify has lossless
That's Japan's fault, not Spotify's. Apple Music doesn't have that shit either.
i have basic taste and i've been using spotify's recommended artist lists to discover new music
anyone know any spotify playlists with a good collection of varied music?

Prove yourself wrong.
abx.digitalfeed.net
abx.digitalfeed.net
haha neat, thanks
>i have basic taste and i've been using spotify's recommended artist lists to discover new music

Listening to playlists is a step backwards.
i was hoping if i could listen to other peoples collections i would find a whole bunch of random songs i'd like and be able to find similar songs from there
Looks like this service is marketed towards those who do not understand bitrate and quality.
>a whole bunch of random songs
There's your problem. Familiarize yourself with the concept and the format of an album. Not listening to top 40 acts is also a good idea.
Apple Music has more content and it's cheaper (how do you manage to be more expensive than something offered by god damn Apple)
No grimdark UI either
My pleasure, very glad you like it.
This one is kinda diverse too.

Here comes the rockist autism
Don't listen to this reject and do whatever you want when it comes to enjoying music, that concept's long gone on these autists
What.CD had collages where albums are recommended together based on a certain theme/user's personal taste. Does Spotify have something like this?
Yeah, I'm not convincing you of anything. Eh, I tried.
i've tried listening to albums but i always find that i only end up like 1 or 2 songs from any album i listen too
it's always either the one song i like is the most unique one or that they all just kinda sound the same so i just save the best one
but like i said i have basic taste so maybe i'm just not listening to GOOD albums
I don't know. I haven't used Spotify, forget a private tracker notoriously hard to get into like what.cd.
>maybe i'm just not listening to GOOD albums
There is not objective method of discerning such a concept. I'm only suggesting to start slowly and work on expanding your listening span.
there are 6 daily mixes curated based on what you listen to, so yes.
>Here comes the rockist autism
How could you even begin to pretend to know that I'm listening to rock music exclusively, especially on an anonymous image board? And I wasn't insulting anyone, I was trying to help. Here:
>70% of the albums I want to listen to
Why would I pay for 70% when I could have 100% in files I can manage myself?
Where do you get all these files from? Isn't it a chore having to find and download hundreds or thousands of tracks?
t. definitely not US Patent Office employee
Nice try but I use flacs on my desktop. Tidal HiFi on my phone and Spotify for things that aren't on Tidal yet. Why stress when you can use them all?
>What did you miss there?
diffferent user but their selection of ambient is pretty weak, as well as some metal subgenres
