Bullshit. Chocolate chip cookies are ALWAYS fucking related. Here's a link to my fave.
averiecooks.com/2012/11/new-york-times-chocolate-chips-cookies-from-jacques-torres.html
You have to scroll down about 2/3 of the page to get past the cookie porn and find the actual recipe.
CAUTION -- If you eat too many of these, you will end up as a fat fuck like me. You have been warned.
And about your roommate? CNN is basically NPR/PBS, only with more faggots and dykes. You might want to put duct tape across your asshole before you go to sleep.

Show him the image I posted. It was CNN with some other MSM "news" sources comparing inauguration crowd sizes. Then show him this HD picture: edition.cnn.com/interactive/2017/01/politics/trump-inauguration-gigapixel/

CNN is fake news

OP here, those are actually mine. I bake for a side biz

ah, yes, a fat dude posting on Sup Forums with his favorite cookie recipe at the ready is scared of being anally raped by those faggots.

:)

The issue is anything that goes against CNN he isntantly dismisses with a "go watch FOX News" statement, as if its some sort of blanket argument win. Its annoying

The funniest part of this shit is that the liberals will say the same thing about the real picture. But then also complain that the term "fake news" is made up and dangerous. Both sides have lies to tell and they're pretty easy to spot if you are capable of independent thought. There is no one true "reliable source." it's all fake news haha

The idea of "sides" is actually crafted by these media conglomerates in order to pit the working class against one another, while we are continually exploited for our labor

Those are chocolate chunk, asshole.

So do you think its fruitless to try and convince him? Or will that just result in a deeper sinking of him into his delusion?

Well, ask him to justify. The link and the image are both from CNN. so he shouldn't have an issue looking at them

He would probably just say that it was photoshopped by someone at fox news

>i don't give a fuck either way
>clearly gives a fuck either way

>Now keep in mind i could give a fuck either way

Let him be, CNN is reliable new faggot, just because your orange king says it isn't doesn't mean it's true. You're the brain washed shit for brains idiot.

I mean i give a fuck about my roomie since hes my friend, i just dont care about the political system or parties, sorry didnt clarify

/thread

well, here you have that image as a video:
edition.cnn.com/2017/01/20/politics/donald-trump-barack-obama-inauguration-crowd-size/index.html

again compare it to: edition.cnn.com/interactive/2017/01/politics/trump-inauguration-gigapixel/

Show him this.

Thanks dude

kill yourself

Post his phone number. We can call him and make good points in your behalf

Hahahahaha if i was a larger dick i def would

Happiest man in that crowd lol

I think the left and the right are actually just two different ways of looking at the world. The left focuses on interdependence. Socialism in general, socialized healthcare and schooling, "living wages" for jobs that aren't meaningful, disarming citizens and relying on cops for security, etc. And the right focuses on independence. Capitalism, deregulating most things (though this ties back to capitalism since they're setting their own minorities up to make 100,000x what the sheep will make). An entire country's divisivness can't be broken down that simply but I think the main divisor is the person's outlook on life and how they choose to interpret the things around them (blaming others vs accepting responsibility for being in a situation; for example)

Try to have a civilized conversation with him about your point of view. Tell him it's really illogical to trust everything a company tells you when the company gets paid more for having people watch them. Everything in our society is built around monetization. If a hundred people aren't making a buck on it everytime you tune in, it wouldn't be getting streamed into the all powerful, idolized, glowing box in your living room. It's ludicrous to trust what your being told by someone like that.

I'd also try to show how emotionally biased everything they "report" is. They are literally manipulating people into shaping their opinions to match those of the people writing the "news." Use these reasons to explain why the idea of "fake news" is a reasonable term to describe the way Viacom and everyone else involved is able to spend an unfathomable amount of money to control the way people think and ultimately the way our country develops. That shit's fucking evil.

You wish fool. You can't suppress the truth.

kill yourself ESL

Slavs, slavs everywhere

CNN is more reliable than anything trump claims. He just repeat his lies so many times untill people start to believe it

...

I mean for example trump claimed that the elections would be rigged. Before they were counted(he himself couldn't believe that he would win).I heard him telling it live on television. But after he won the elections he immediately dropped that accusation. How can he still be credible for his followers. I dont get it...

Tell him about a conflict with two valid sides in politics, for instance the ongoing israeli-palestinian conflict or the russian invasion of parts of the ukraine in reaction to nato expansion into baltic countries.
Make a point about the fact that it's sometimes important to put yourself in the viewpoint of the other side to better understand the nature of a conflict. He doesn't even have to change his own opinion, but may just get a better understanding that not everything is black and white because usually it isn't.
Even extremists have some sort of point of them, even though it's typically their favourite fairy tale about sky daddy and sand people.

I dont think they are concerned with credibility sadly

he's right

>go watch FOX News

Fox news is the devil!!!

that pic reminds me of when cnn calls two gay dudes married

Those are some delicious looking cookies, OP. I wasn't hungry before, but I could sure go for a few now.

> Now keep in mind i could give a fuck either way
> i dont want him getting brainwashed

Ill bake you a batch as long as youre on the east coast

Central IL, but thanks for the offer, man. Much appreciated regardless.

Anyone notice the media blackout at Fox News yesterday? It took them half the day to run a Paul Manafort headline and then on TV they talked about Halloween candy and the burger emoji. Fox news is essentially state run news at this point. Trump is way to close to Fox (he's been on Fox news at least 40 times) for me to even watch it

If you ever make your way to PA you can sample the fuck out of them

OP, you have to realize that some people are beyond help.

This is a skill that will help you many times throughout your life. Trying to help idiots amounts the the same as tilting at windmills. You don't want to be Don Quixote, do you?

Id rather be iCarly

Remember: never pay for news. News should always be free. NPR is my go to.
>having to pay for cable to get news channels is paying for news
>having to subscribe for content is paying for bews
