Are you african american?

1/8
Shit taste

10: Age of Adz
11: Ravedeath 1972
12: The Seer
13: Tomorrows Harvest
14: Syro
15: Carrie and Lowell
16: AMSP/Blackstar
17: Science Fiction

I was also thinking of putting XXX as my favorite of 2011. Honestly looking back, 2011 was probably the best year of music this decade so far.
Ravedeath 1972 was beautiful as well for 2011. I like your taste though, very nice.

I do though, my favorites of the 10's just happened to be Sup Forums

Entry level aint bad or good. Its kinda just eh and boring

big fish theory is the only tolerable album on their desu

these are safe lists, but still pretty decent picks. love narkopop, age of adz, and clear moon (even tho i think sauna is phil's best work this decade).

...

6/8 nice

narkopop is really good

Dax Riggs is always a pleasant surprise to see these days considering the annoying reputation Acid Bath has had among metal fans sometimes. I still feel like people who like Yeezus haven't actually listened to more varieties of hip hop and electronic music though.
The Seer is always a fantastic top tier choice one can't really go wrong with any Swans records from the 2010s. Syro is also my favorite Aphex Twin record honestly, so much little detail in there as he really takes advantage of going fully analogue and using a ton of gear. I am surprised anyone would still care for a record like Science Fiction though, it sounds outdated, and honestly badly aged as that atmosphere isn't chic anymore which leaves unengaging music.
Well...To Pimp A Butterfly's legitimately good, and nobody can ever legit take away from that outside dumb memes. It's ridiculous how dense the album is with various details. Bottomless Pit is an epitome to me why people unfairly often shit on metal and why Death Grips also gets way too much love some times. That first track would be considered a mediocre black metal track having just a couple uninventive riffs. But a hip hop group did it? Oh that must make it automatically good to the extent where even Bottomless Pit haters call it one of the good tracks.

underage kid who watches fantano with no taste

man with taste, but for 12 i would choose Andy Stott - Luxury Problems and for 16 Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Skeleton Tree

terrible. you like only rap wtf wrong with your music taste

What other albums from 2011 would you recommend? I've felt 2012 was the strongest year of the decade for a long time, but I've been trying to expand my horizons.

+Gas
+Evilfeast

7/10, getting there

Alright. THIS is what the real good shit has been this decade. Not your regurgitated pop music garbage. Get taste, you losers. But then, I guess for plebeians such groundbreaking music would be hard to get into as it's so much more engaging than everything else posted ITT that it would go over you idiots' heads.

>10: murmuüre - murmuüre
>11: Of the wand and the moon - The Lone Descent
>12: Swans - The Seer
>13: Matt Elliot - Only Myocardial infarction can break your heart

most boring person in this thread

Some how DG didn't make it on here, just feels wrong. These are based on how much I listened to it when it came out/how it holds up. Tastes change, so have my favorites.

good taste, guess I should really listen to circular reasoning. Thanks for the rec!

That being said, I don't like it near as much as any of the other albums I listed.

>Bland as fuck Suburbs
>but my list sucks

Props for Leprous tho. Still need to check out that steven wilson record but I liked Hand Cannot Erase a lot

...

>Half Free
such an underrated record

>are you judging music by the people who listen to it?
not really, i just can't stand Pecknold's voice for some reason

2017 isn't even over, dude.

He's a quite skilled singer, shame about his retarded lyrics. Can you stand other nasal singers like jeff mangum?

Ya'll missing out.

He's one of my favorite lyricists and vocalists.

That being said crack up was disappointing.

>If I had an orchard, I'd work till I'm raw
>If I had an orchard, I'd work till I'm sore

You clearly took your whole list from others, you tool.

>says OP has shit taste
>his picks are not only just as generic but they're also worse in quality
