Yea I have some projects I need to get done before I start though. Vulkan is really low level and I like that, but requires a ton of work before even getting to the swapchain stage... its how it should be though.

Also, programming wages are total BS when you're starting out, they get better later.
You've got a choice between:
>being paid basically nothing as an intern
>being paid basically nothing as a freelancer
Employers place WAY too much value on work experience.
You can have been learning programming for years and working on plenty of your own projects, but if you've never been hired before, employers will literally expect you to work for a dollar an hour if you're freelancing. (more if you're an intern, but it's offset by transport costs)

I heard. I don't like the looks of programming jobs because I hear people get burnt out from problem solving all the time, under strange time constraints.

Since software engineering jobs don't look fun I'm probably going to get a degree in chemical engineering instead, since I'm really good at chemistry. Then code whatever I want as a hobby. But if not, then I can upload my massive list of projects to github and make a portfolio.. that counts as experience right?

I have a programming problem that I'm not really sure how to solve.
It's not that it's a hard problem, it's just that I'm not sure what's the best solution.
The situation is that I have a program that takes an image as input, and produces a similar image as output (if you feed it a red-outlined, green-filled square against a white background, it will produce red-outlined green-filled angular shapes against a white background)
However, due to how it attempts to resolve patterns in the image that are not allowed, sometimes a particular colour will be very rare or even nonpresent in the output image despite being abundant in the input image.
So, what I need is a way to make it more likely to place colours that there are too few of, and less likely to place colours that there are too many of.
I've thought of a number of ways but they all have problems.
I'm talking about an actual girl, not my tulpa.
