Was doing some cleaning to make sure it was all 100% good taste and I accidentally deleted the master folder, not the sub sections, the master folder.
Recycle bin is disabled, recovery tool I downloaded (to the same :(directory) yields nothing good. Hold me.

You could also use this as an opportunity to stop watching porn as it does affect our brains negatively and has been proven to do so. Try not watching porn for a month and you will feel much better trust me.
Downloaded recuvr IMMEDIATELY after deleting it. Strangely, it shows files i deleted months ago in the directory, but not the master folder.

Downloaded it, It seems like software for restoring drives or partitions. Mine was all on C drive
don't worry there is a way to recover data off of C drive. Try using the GUI version first. The command prompt version works too but best to use GUI first. I have recovered heaps of stuff of my computer and these laptops I bought at a garage sale lol.
also make sure you have a spare harddrive to copy the recovered files to. Look up a youtube vid on how to use if needed. Good luck.

Ah ok. Well if you lost the actual data such as mp4 files and jpgs you should still be able to recover them from the C drive by targeting those file types with the software from the root dir. This software is for fixing partitions but it also recovers data too, just it will rename everything when recovered which is annoying but at least you get your stuff back. It also can takes a few hours.
For anons who want to know how it happened:
Took some free time to clean up all the porn sub types. When I was satisfied with the quality, I CTRL clicked my RAR encrypted backup and my PGP encrypted backup and hit delete. Little did I know my main folder was selected by navigating out of it.
Don't lose hope man. My sisters harddrive needed to be formatted because of some virus or something and I used the recovery program I linked before and I have recovered all here data from a formatted drive. It works good.

however, any files you create now can overwrite your deleted stuff - that's why you should recover the files to a different disk/partition.

Recycle anons: I have NEVER used my recycle bin, all it does is show my (porn) file history.
Just use recuva. Simple easy shit.

I deep scanned the directory containing the folder and encrypted backups. all that showed up up were a few wallpapers I deleted MONTHS AGO
I think there's also an option to scan for "files deleted from recycle bin", try that.
if that fails, try a regular (not deep) scan on the whole drive.
Usually, it should even still find overwritten files. You won't be able to recover them, but it should still detect them. Not finding anything is strange.
It was mostly 2D. Don't like traps.
