Im not sure, but the main vote was probably legit with some minor locally organised frauds that dont matter that much and happen anyways. The fraud was commited by postal vote not by normal vote. Weve had a suprising new record of postal votes this election with almost 1 million postal (out of ~7 million voters in all of austria) voters and ~700 000 of them sent in /valid, even though tons of experts expected to have a very low postal vote this election. Pictures of "invalid" vote ballots also surfaced and (what a suprise) most of them are perfectly valid with a norbert hofer vote. Hofer and the FPÖ are talking with the U-Auschuss (investigation comission) about the voter fraud and openly claim that the vote was rigged. Strache, the guy running for prime minister is considered "worse". Hofer was the nice guy friendly face of the FPÖ while Strache is more hardline and extreme (still not muh ebil nazi tho). Then theres also the actual nazis and fascists in the extreme wing of the fpö (not meant in a negative way).
