So people say this is a bad album, huh? How in hell can a album built of pure raw anger, with no ballads or radio-friendly musics whatsoever, with a 40+ y/o gentleman massively raping his drums, with lyrics made to punch down walls while singing, be a bad album? This album is not only uniquely awesome in Metallica's road, but a uniquely awesome album for metal fans. Truth is, metal fans sometimes are the most stupid of all, and because of all these jackasses we do not get to see any of these powerful songs live in a concert. Good job, a-holes.

he's calling on the patron saint of anger while puting a noose around himself
"he never gets respect"
he is speaking in third person about himself

he is pushing a log out while thinking about putting the noose around his neck.
"(you flush it out, you flush it out) he never gets respect"
this is a multi-faceted lyric about both the pertson not getting respect, and him not respecting the log he is flushing away

he no longer regrets shitting while wanting to hang himself, so he does it on stage with the lights on in front of a crowd, but only because an inner voice has told him to be free of judgement while shitting and hanging himself.

his shit is so powerful the ground is rumbling and he can't see through squinted eyes at the strain of the shit he is taking, can't tell if he wants to kill himself or if it's out of fear from the force of the shit he is about to unload. Because of this, he blames the shit, and is madly in anger with it.

It has a few good songs like Corporal jigsore quandaray and Incarnated solvent abuse for instance. It's a good album in general.
But its simply not as solid or groundbreaking as Heartwork was. Even if you dont like the style they went, they did alot for the genre when they did. Even they themself think Heartwork is probably their most solid album. Heck Bill Steer think's Swansong was their best.
