AOR? Seriously?
3/10. You have some interesting stuff there like Guernica and Queensryche but a lot of the other stuff is cheesy af. Like the stuff my dad and grandpa listen to.

8/10

8/10

Also, I suck at recs but I'll try my best in further comments.

AOR is an underrated genre and I'm confident a lot of people like it but pretend otherwise just to look cool or some bullshit reason like that. Also Arcade Fire, Kanye and Radiohead are overrated trash. Get on my level m8.

haven't listened to majority of these to give a fair judgement

I think you would enjoy they might be giants if you haven't listened to them yet. Can't really go wrong with their first 4 albums but I'd recommend Lincoln and Apollo 18 especially
Thank you, I kinda feel weird saying (and I wasn't sure if you were serious) but I'm glad you're still posting.
Ought - Sun Coming Down if you haven't heard yet

Have you listened to City of Caterpillar already? I think you would enjoy them possibly, we have a lot of similar stuff

>La Düsseldorf - La Düsseldorf if you haven't heard

thanks, i've had that one and Viva on a harddrive since like 2015 so i should probably listen to them now lol

I feel like my taste is kinda bad so I didn't made a big chart. I'd appreciate some pop recs though

You know I hate The Smiths, don't you? you cheeky little shit.

An example of somebody who has shit taste in music but discovered Sup Forums and changed his taste to impress people evidenced by the few albums in the chart that aren't Sup Forumscore being absolutely garbage

RECS MUCH APPRECIATED

+Guernica
+Devo
You've listened to Yapoos, right?

Try Phew, she collaborated with Can.

I liked the Units, I thought that Los Microwaves had a very similar sound.

+The Stalin
I haven't listened to all that much punk lately, but I'll always recommend Inu and The Blue Hearts.

+Jun Togawa
+Picky Picnic
Try Uchoten, Picky Picnic was part of Kera's record label.
I should probably update my chart some time.

>I liked the Units, I thought that Los Microwaves had a very similar sound.

huh, i never heard of them before, thanks for mentioning them though cause they're pretty cool if Time to Get Up is any indication, kinda reminds me of Hardcore Devo mixed with their later stuff lol

oh shit i just saw you got Helmens on there, nice

oh and btw check out this song i linked here i think you might like it, Mark Mothersbaugh played it on the Dr. Demento show as Booji Boy in like 1979 or something and it was a grail of mine for years until i finally tracked it down lol

Generic

I haven't heard of Tokow Boys before, good song though.

Have you ever listened to PEVO before? I'm a pretty big fan, I listen to this crossfade a lot because I don't own the CD yet.
soundcloud.com/pullmozile/sets/pmz-0002p

yeah they're a french group

desu the rest of their music isn't nearly as good (i had to listen to all of it to actually find the song lol) but that song is one of my favorite new wave artifacts lol

yeah this is cool, kinda reminds me of POLYSICS lol, very devo like indeed

Ah, that's too bad then.

They had a release on one of Devo's NNBBM albums. Yeah, it shows that they're both heavy P-Model fans too.
