Ask a Mormon anything

Ask a Mormon anything

> are you a believing mormon? or a cultural one?

> Will you be a missionary?

> Does your Bishop ask you if you bop the bishop?

What do you hate most about Mormonism?
Are a lot of your congregation Teabaggers?
Have you gone door-to-door?

>Ask a Mormon anything

Why the fuck would you start an AMA thread then abandon it?

i've been disenfranchised. will you still talk to me?

Why do you believe in a false religion that has only been a recognized group since the 19th century? Compared to other groups that have been following their beliefs for a much longer span of time.
What makes you right and them wrong?

Were you born retarded or did you become retarded later in life?

Sweet pic and good question.

Is the M on your keyboard sticking?

What is a mormon?

What's a mormon doing on such an immoral image board? You must not be a very good one

His parents came into the room and asked him what he was doing

it's a moron who can't spell "moron"

Oh damn thanks for clarifying that
I thought they were something annoying like jehovas witnesses

south park actually summed it up pretty accurately

heh

> call themselves Jehovah's Witnesses
> have never witnessed Jehovah

that's like calling yourselves The Guys Who Have Slept With Cracky-Chan

Mormons are free to live their lives however they want.

Not much of a religion if there are no guidelines

>Mormons are free to live their lives however they want.

As long as they don't want to
drink coffee
masturbate
drink alcohol
look at porn
have premarital sex
party on Sunday
wear normal underwear
swear
smoke
see rated R movies
drink tea

Thread has as much substance and answers as Mormonism. Well played.

South Park burn you good or totally bullshit?

>are you a believing mormon? or a cultural one?

Believing Mormon. I have no cultural ties to the religion, my family isn't Mormon and I wasn't raised Mormon. I simply believe in the principles espoused by Doctrine and Covenants, a Mormon teaching book. I would say I agree with the doctrine and covenants heartily enough to call myself a Mormon.

Don't know why OP left. I was born and grew up Mormon. I don't necessarily believe in God, but I see the benefits of religion, and I sympathize with Mormons. No I'm not a missionary. Ask me anything.

...

South Park focused on cultural Mormonism, the Utah-centric version of the faith. I am not a part of that sect.

The Book of Mormon isn't even the primary text of Mormonism. It was written for gullible 19th century American citizens. Doctrine and Covenants was made to be a lasting text. Doctrine and Covenants is Lord of the Rings to the Book of Mormon's Harry Potter.
