stop calling MBDTF a maximallist album. 69 love songs is what a maximalist album looks like.

both have pornographic covers
not bad
Who cares? MBDTF is actually good lol
Not at all
i love both albums but i view MBDTF more "maximalist" in the nature of its composition than 69 love songs.
i guess you can call 69 love songs "maximalist" in the sense that there is a dick load of songs on the album, tho, if u want.
im listening to it now and i see what OP means, there are a shitton of different sounds and also he makes all maximalist choices: do repeat that chorus another time, do add in a banjo part, do go shamelessly all in
definitely, fantastic album with a lot of effort and care put into it
None of these albums are maximalist wtf. You could at least read the wikipedia description of what that means.
MBDTF is just a basic as shit rap album lmao. Nigga get your head straight
...
69 lol
>Go to the Wikipedia maximalist description because I don't know what maximalist music is
>MBDTF is literally the only album named
You lied to me
Name two (2) rap albums like MBDTF.
how the fuck is there a fourth album
this guy has no concept of self editing
stop shilling your trash.
it's all pure garbagebags
comparible to nickelback IMO
agreed it should be censored
mods?
Having a short album doesn't make your album minimalism the same way having a long album doesn't mean it's maximalist
Having a similar sounding album doesn't make your album minimalism the same way having a diverse variety of sounds in a an album album doesn't mean it's maximalist
You guys are stupid. Having an album with a lot of empty space makes your album minimalism the same way having a very dense album means it's maximalist. MBDTF is dense, 69 Love songs isn't. Stop being stupid.
>They don't know who impossible nothing is
A bit new to this board? Why don't you listen to more music before you come here.
it will corrupt the minds of the youth
>Having a short album doesn't make your album minimalism the same way having a long album doesn't mean it's maximalist
this so much lmao
So what is an example of Middlemanism?
it's bandcamp shit, he's overhyped either way
>doesn't religiously follow scaruffis reviews
lurk more
doesn't matter, i agree its shit and samey but you can't have people calling mods to delete shit.
anyone who goes on mu enough (that it hurts) knows impossible nothing
>"it's bandcamp shit"
>"it's CD shit"
>"it's cassette tape shit"
>"it's record shit"
>"it's tape reel to tape reel shit
>"it's live performance shit"
>"it's handrum shit
>WE ALL KNOW THE ONLY OFFICIAL MUSIC IS ON ITUNES BROS
>samey
Is that even a word?
also user please post similar projects thx k bye
its a word used in the UK
by samey, i mean that every song is unique in the grand scheme of music - but totally identical to every other impossible nothing song. He has released 12 hours of plunder-glitch-hop where every sample bounces around in stereo for a bit. but its all the same.
very maximalist thanks for the recc user
I mean the projects would so much better if one album was classical, one album was ska-rock, one album dark crypto ambient, one album was grime infused jungle trip hop right lad?
They just suck really.
>Having an album with a lot of empty space makes your album minimalism the same way having a very dense album means it's maximalist.

fucking idiot

revolver by the beatles
Literally all of them sound like it you fucking reddithead
Minimalism in music isn't inherently tied to empty space desu, if we're going with the minimalism style of people like Philip Glass and Terry Riley, then you could argue that neither or those are minimalist albums, and that a minimalist album is The King of Limbs, or even Spiderland. And, in the same vein, one might argue that In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is a maximalist album.
Defining minimalism and maximalism is... confusing.
gonna venture to assume you know nothing about music production
>pretty good guess
>wouldn't bet against you there
did we all agree on everything?
