2010s Hip Hop Chart Update

This thread is mainly to find a 2014 album to replace B4.DA.$$ because it's in the wrong year and I need to switch it to 15.

And if people want we can start adding albums for 2017 too. Other swapouts (except for The Suns Tirade) are negotiable.

2017 nomminations:
Tyler the Creator - flower boy
Vince Staples - big fish theory
Billy Woods - known unknowns
Milo - who told you to think

Added. Any suggestions for what to add to 2014? Any 2014 hip hop album is allowed.

For 2014, either Faces or Days Before Rodeo.

For 2017, I'd add Saturation 2, Flower Boy, Big Fish theory, 4:44, rap album 2, and playboi carty

needs more LUM
needs more Injury Reserve
MMLP2 belongs there more than Drake

Thank you!

Will post update within the next 10 minutes.

You can add DBR to 2014
Add ALLA over that ghostface album, the game, or milo
2017 needs Saturation (1 at least maybe 2), Big Fish Theory, 4:44, Flower Boy, DAMN., THUGGER Girls, etc... prob more I could think of.

2017:

Ski Mask The Slump God - You Will Regret
Kendrick - Damn (obv)
Bedwetter - Vol. 1

Sorry for delay, topsters is malfunctioning.

Considering adding Hndrxx or S/T from Future. Thoughts?

It already has 2 L.U.M.

If you want me to add shit you're gonna need to give me more than acronyms.

Will be added.

>no TLOP for 2016

ok dis a problem

Maybe swap that Tonedeff album for it?

>no TLOP for 2016
>ok dis a problem
It is?

Finally downloaded. Shitty internet.

Thoughts?

No More Parties In L.A. was SOTY so it is

>One good song
Yeah that's not enough bud.

OP, you're fucking shit.

>expecting one guy not to have any bias towards the picking of albums on his own chart

This is why you always have groups for stuff like this.

how about 20 good songs

Well that doesn't help.

There's plenty of stuff on here I hate that I included anyway. No bias.

If you can get another user to back you I'll add it to the chart.

TLOP should be there

Alright. I'll swap the Tonedeff album for it.
Should I post update even though it's one album?

The years of this decade just keep getting better and better when it comes to rap

I would have recommended RA The Rugged Man - Legends Never Die for 2013 but damn I guess I forgot how good that year was for hip hop. Couldn't really justify getting rid of any of those.

I'm flexible on that. I like R.A.. Maybe swap out Trap Lord or Yeezus?

I love Trap Lord and I kinda think Yeezus is shit. But that's just me I know lots of people on here would disagree with me tho. Easily Kanye's worst imo.

I'd say if anything get rid of the Drake album there and add If You're Reading This It's Too Late elsewhere to more than make up for it.

I already have every other album he made on this and the 2000s charts. (save for 808s which was null for being primarily R&B) I'm sure I could replace something.

What would I replace in 2015?

Are no EPs allowed? Death Grips dropped a dope EP this year.

INJURY RESERVE.

INJURY RESERVE.

INJURY RESERVE.

Out of all of the ones on there I'd probably say Ghostface unfortunately.

Preferably not.

What am I replacing?

On it!

For 2015 you can replace Jay Rock, The Game, or Milo, whichever

For 2016 you can replace Ka

>swap out Yeezus

I'm feeling a strong no to a light hell nah on that

Damn just refreshed the page. I'll do that in a moment.

Yeezy doesn't need all his albums on the charts.

There it is.

I'd probably do Saturation II over the first, I think it's generally preferred.

do you have something against Live From the Dentist Office or something

You did RTJ, Kendrick, and DG for two years consecutively, why not Reserve

Kendrick and Death Grips are like the biggest acts of the 2010s. Kanye included too I guess.

>Yeezy doesn't need all his albums on the charts.
>implying

But desu, Yeezus deserves it more than TLOP

I could probably do both.

Can you calm your impatient ass down? I just added IR.

So put Yeezus back?

>So put Yeezus back?

yes pls

If you're replacing one for Legends Never Die, I'd replace LongLiveASAP

LongLiveASAP is way more important than that Drake album. It's better than Views but even most of the singles from that album have been forgotten. If You're Reading This It's Too Late was added so I think it doesn't really need to be there.

I suppose it's for the greater good...

add back LongLive and get rid of the Drake as said here

Godfather by Wiley is a must for 2017

>no You Will Regret for 2017

Further updates will be done tomorrow morning. May have another thread for it. Need sleep.

Feel free to discuss chart in mean time.

Yo when the fuck you gonna take that garbage fire Playboi Carti album off that chart?

lets take a moment to thank our helpful and hardworking OP. Thanks OP

Unknown memory

You can't take out Yeezus because of one user. The fact that it's the most polarizing album of our time says a lot desu. It's Kanye's best work and deserves to be on any list of the 2010's best albums in general.

>it's Kanye's best work
any particular reason you feel this way? I was gonna just say you're wrong and laugh at you but you already mentioned how polarizing it is. Legitimately interested what you think puts it above College Dropout and MBDTF

add this for 2017
>wiki - no mountains in manhattan

Faces Mac miller

1999 and Indigoism should probably be on there if you can make room for them. They're both more influential/big than Duality and Twelve Reasons to Die respectively.

Surprised, yet happy the thread is still alive. Good morning. Will add updates.

When you offer a swap out

I'll hope that wasn't sarcasm. You're welcome.

>It's Kanyes best work
But that's not LR.

Replace magnolia with saturation 2

Think I got all the main changes on here. (Topsters is a pain in the ass on mobile)

Considering as well.

>grime
>hip hop

>complaining about what I add instead of offering swap outs.

Which one is grime? I'll put Saturation 2 in its place.

Nevermind found the grime one.

For 2017
Freddie Gibbs - You Only Live 2wice
Sean Price - Imperius Rex

Will add soon.
(Thought price died. Surprised he's still releasing stuff).

fucking anything would be better than that Carti album. If you want a meme on there I'd take Pink Season over that. Or if you want something more relevant, Culture by Migos. Or something weird like Being You Is Great, I Wish I Could Be You More Often by Quelle Chris. The new Rick Ross wasn't bad. All-Amerikkkan Badass got some critical acclaim, as did Vic Mensa's album. I don't even necessarily think any of these should be on the chart, but neither should that Carti album.

Pls swap out Carti for something like Bedwetter Vol 1 or even Luv Is Rage 2

>All Amerikkkan Bada$$

I am ashamed I forgot that album thank you will add immediately.

How's it looking boys? (Will reorganize chronologically when I get on PC

Where the FUCK is rtj3?

The only good albums in this chart are My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Good Kid M.A.A.D. City, Yeezus, Run the Jewels 2, and To Pimp a Butterfly.

Choose what to swap out in 2016 and that can be done.

Suns Tirade is the only one off limits

Get rid of aesop

DOne.

Here's the most recent updated version now in correct Chronological order.

2016: Change TLOP to Kaytranada – 99.9%

Put ka back in. Rtj 3 is wack

double dubs do it faggot

Sean Price did die. This is a posthumous album made by Duck Down (his long-term label) with most of the verses coming from an album Sean had been working on, with plenty of features both from his crew (boot camp clik) as well as Wu-Tang, DOOM, one of the last unreleased (and therefore also posthumous) verses from Prodigy, and a pretty good list of producers. In other words, as far as posthumous albums go, it was made in a very respectful way of Sean. Not a cash-grab either, as all profits go to Seans family. As for the quality of the album I really like it, production is on point, verses slap, it does its thing. Here's some of my favourite songs from it.

youtube.com/watch?v=OPtAeWM1S98
youtube.com/watch?v=scZVRNaH_Q8

I just put it in.
Plus it has Danny Brown, that's a huge plus on their end.

Alternatively if room can be made in 2012 Sean Price's Mic Tyson is solid. Either or, but one deserves to be on there.

Not even one Action Bronson project? I thought Rare Chandeliers was aight.

Yeah he probably deserves a spot

Take off that Lupe album no one really likes from 2012 and put on Rare Chandeliers

who in the fuck is R.A. the Rugged Man. Just cause one user is pissing his pants doesnt mean Yeezus, one of Ye's more controv. albums off. Also, again, who the fuck is R.A. the rugged man. Kanye is a fuckin household name.

R.A.'s been around for a while. It's not anyone of our faults you haven't heard of him. He was cosigned by Biggie way back. Yeezus is back on it so what's your problem.

Injury reserve

>Because you don't know who someone is he shouldn't be included in a chart
>Using controversial as a positive

but yeezus is still on there

it's already on there

>playboi carti
>hideitinmahsohk

shit list

Did you even bother to look at the thread?
