only death metal is real

/djent/

That cover gave me a spook

death metal neckbeard fuel

What are the names of the ones with the blue circle?

The one with the Cthulhu is Morbid Funeral - Summerian Rites
That one one row higher is Morbid Goat Fornicator - Nuclear Vaticano
Don't know abut the rest

YOU WALK IN DEFEATED
WEARING OUT YOUR WEAKNESSES

Sludgin' and smokin' on a cloudy thursday.

I want to cum on those braids

>Varg will never be your father

>listens to Megadeth once

What does /metal/ think of the ruins of beverage

Is this their best album yet? Do you think they will top it?

One of the best early metal albums.

is that a chuck schuldiner/david foster wallace hybrid in the bottom right?

>early metal
>1977

solid atmoshit

good melodeath, reminds me of Carcass's Heartwork a bit.

get me some thrash I might not know boys

Thrash with Greek black influences or maybe the other way around

/Power&Death/ metal checking in

The best advice I ever got to get into death metal was
>Listen to Altars of Madness until you like it
The power metal equivalent would be Keeper pt 2

>beverage

I do know a fair amount of it at first glimpse, gonna look through. Ty for the compilation anyways, I might find something.

I currently am still trying to fully get into DM, and did also kinda enjoy Morbid Angel, but the bands that I really could make something out of (besides Death) are Entombed, Vader and Carcass. Based on that, any recommendations?

Possessed, Dismember and early Dark Tranquility

Can't go wrong with Bolt Thrower and the rest of the swedeath scene (Centinex, God Macabre and Gorement are my favorites).

Darkthrone's Soulside Journey, Phlebotomized's Intense, Imense, Suspense, Nocturnus The Key, Timeghoul demos, Gorgut's Obscura and Atheist's Unquestionable Pressence.

Katharsis - VVorldVVithoutEnd

try these out

Never forget

Doesn't sound remotely similar to Megadeth.

Gothenburg trio

Best Black/Doom band outhere

some will disagree but I consider their discography flawless

Would be better than metal sucks/injection/blabbermouth.

First 3 Amorphis albums

oh honey

ONLY DEATH IS REAL
youtube.com/watch?v=mYSvyTQZY0g

But it doesn't.

oh honey

Deicide and Obituary are great bands and pretty entry level too

Does anyone have any albums like this?

Vikingy black metal that isn't cheesy. Moonsorrow is another good example.

Which death metal band has the best growling vocals?

Mizmor are a better black/doom crossover. Ruins are more atmospheric black

Six Feet Under

lel

Would you go see this?

>Sponsored by "Everything Thrash Metal"

GYPSY YOU'RE INSIDE OF ME

only power is real

one of the aotysfs

Volcanic Slut

Norwegian language, mythology inspired.

am already a huge in flames fan. currently getting into dark tranquillity which I do enjoy.
I've already tried At The Gates a while back, but I remember them not really blasting me away, I might check again.

To add my 2 cents, what sold me on thrash and death was Morbid Saint. That was the first time I heard an album and didn't remember a single song or melody, and yet still liked it
Morbid Saint isn't my cup of tea though

already knew the Repugnant one because of Tobias Forge from Ghost ... pretty okay I guess

gotta say not a big fan of the rest so far tho

Absolute shit

Only the metalic half of visual kei is real

...

only the pirate half of pirate metal is real

none of metal's halves are real

only the metal half of reality is metal

DUDE

Fuck, i can't say no to anything with a D-BEAT! Love that shit.

glam is the hip hop of metal
loud drums: check
barely any musical value or talent: check
"alpha" larping and constant boasting: check
lyrics are about fucking and hoes: check
ridiculous faggot looks: check
dumbed down for the low IQ audiences: check
fading to obscurity after their short run: check

I agree 100% But the D-beat makes any shitty music GOOD! If hip hop had d-beat drumming it would at least be listenable.

>Standing Sex

>fading to obscurity after their short run: check
Hip-hop has been a thing since the late 70's though, and it's more popular now than ever

...

>barely any musical value or talent
wrong

/Power&Glam/ here

The perfection of melodic death metal. Grim, dark and cold blend of metal and melancholy. Such an underrated album.

I mean separate artists though, not hip hop in general. E.g. Puff Daddy
Sup Forums running course of every hip hop record in a nutshell:
>"HAHA MY FELLOW WIGGERS WHO UP FOR THIS 201X AOTY TBKH PHAM "
>tens of thousands of replies
>forgotten about in a month

literally who?

this isn't related to X-Japan, compared to american glam they were good
frankly, glam was mostly image for them, what someone posted above is poppy thrash/speed

Glam acts missed a trick by not having a glam aesthetic with some poppy thrash songs.
saying you can only be one or the other wasn't smart

u might know them but i just listened to this and it good

youtube.com/watch?v=vB63goHFTHY

>literally who?
one of the best metal guitarists

I fucking hate guitar honestly
