Is Temple University good?
I was looking at temple university and it might be a good idea. I'll have to find out if my GI bill is applicable there.
here's the list of universities i was looking at

He can cross out Tohoku, Nagoya, and Kyushu as well. They are called ex-imperial universities and like Ivy Leagues. You have very little chance of getting admitted from a community collage.
William Bennett
>Temple University It's an American University. Almost all classes are conducted in English, and they have a Japanese language program as well. I don't know if it's "good," but I'm sure it's easier for you to transfer into. If you graduate Temple, you may be able to do your masters in a proper Japanese university.

You might have a good chance with Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific. They are actively accepting foreign students from various countries. Being a native English speaker alone makes you an attractive candidate for them.

I know italians say "prego" a lot and in many different situations, and they also use the word a lot before and during sex. Do 日本人 say "頑張って!" a lot before or during sex since they use it a lot socially like italians with prego?

Damn Sup Forums where the hell do I even start with learning Japanese?
Hiragana and Katakana look foreign as shit since I haven't practiced them in the last 2 years when I just dropped trying to learn it.
Is there any good beginner guides to grammar or REALLY REALLY easy children's books with translations to get me started or something as I memorize Hiragana again?
I propose that you shouldn't only have credit cards but also cash to some extent just in case since credit cards can be used at most supermarkets and shops though, but you may be faced with trouble if you don't have any cash when you pay money at small restaurants which credit cards can't be used at. Japan has not become completely cashless society yet, so be careful.
When it comes to telling the time, for half-past the hours, are native Japanese more likely to say 4時30分 or 4時半? Is one more informal than the other? I've known how to tell the time for ages but I'm not sure which is more common/formal. Thanks!

I'm researching this right now. Where is this located--
>I must choose between an american university in Japan next year, or cram enough japanese to pass the EJU next year (impossible) to enter a japanese university proper, or wait until i get my bachelor's to go to a proper university in japan without having to worry about bachelor's anymore and get a government scholarship
...Time to look into temple university.
Isaiah Thomas
There are many kinds of scholarships and many of them are offered to people under 30~35 years old. There are non-governmental scholarships too. An oddball scholarship pays your tuition and gives you free accommodation while you deliver newspapers. shinbun.hitorigurasi.net/nikkei/ I hear that the job's pretty demanding and whether it's available to non Japanese though.

Usually you find cheap and merry deals on food in the areas that has many collages. Waseda, Ochanomizu, and Iidabashi are quite central.
>include things like broken bones and mental illnesses yes >腕を直しました hmmm....it sounds like your arm joint has been dislocated, and your doctor forcibly 'fixed' it. 直す could be used for a body part but it would sound like some kind of carpentry work.

This is just going on what others have said, and what I have seen from watching clips but not actually the show itself.
I heard that the manga is basically just bad fan-fiction.
As for the anime, apparently it has the same short-comings of GT: poor pacing and an abortive attempt to return to the lighter/more comedic tone of early Dragon Ball. Of course, GT animation at least was similar to Z, and content built on existing elements, whereas Super diverges for the worse here, too.
Maybe I'll eventually get around to reading the manga, but I doubt it, since I could barely make myself finish the Majin arc of the original manga (although I liked that arc in the anime).
