The sad thing is that we do have extremely low crime rates in some parts of the country. Some of the states up north like in Vermont or Montana are incredibly peaceful and have very low crime. It's completely possible to have very low crime in the US; we have way more than enough law aiding citizens here. It's just that nobody wants to get really serious about it. If Trump does build a wall and crack down on illegal immigration, that would be a very good step in the right direction. The crime along the US-Mexico border is absolutely insane. In my opinion, people should feel safe no matter where they are in this country.
