I work for a large company, and testify that the men do on average make more money but you can argue that their experience and what they bring to the table is the reason why. As for the gender identity thing, I think it's perfectly normal to have both female and male qualities, or being gender fluid, I wouldn't change my gender though but at the same time it doesn't bother me if someone chooses to do that. Why would you let something not involving you let it bother you so much?

The point is not that the language does not change, but that it has been changed recently over this particular issue to suit a purpose. You want to know why people think that your definitions are idiocy? Look to the definition BEFORE your camp changed it.
