g**m """""""metal""""""""

YOU ARE THE ONE

AND SAIL
THE SEAS
I KNOW
SO WELL

G-guys I swear we aren't a new wave band! Our label forced us to go new wave! We're really metal punk rivetheads you gotta believe me!

The only true religion is theistic Satanism and the various currents by which He grants us.

this but unironically

Is there a better tourist test than asking someone which Inquisition albums are good?
If they only like Ominous Doctrines and beyond, the chance they're a tourist is high

>this general still sucks

well, see you guys next year i guess

*hops onto the next trend in black metal at the drop of a hat*

This is now an Abigor thread.

what's the difference between theistic satanism, luciferianism and anticosmic satanism?
I already know about laveyan satanism, it's meh

Are you any better of a tourist for being introduced to the band by those albums and then going backwards to appear kvlt?

all Inquisition albums are good

yes

...

nice

lmao that cheesy early 2000's cover. checking this out now

WOAH-OH-OH-AH-AH-AH-AAAA-HA-AH-AH-AH-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

They are all pretty similar but here's the ntushell stuff:

Theistic Satanism: General big word, like orthodox Satanism, encompasses a large amount of things which view Satan in a theistic perspective.

Luciferianism: Sees Lucifer as a savior and liberator of mankind, and God/Jehovah/the Demiurge, as the true entity of evil.

Anticosmic gnosticism: Similar to the above, but it desires a return to the period of time before the Demiurge created the material world, and before Ain became Ain Soph and was corrupted. The cosmos therefore is a force of true evil, and the goal is to unravel the very foundations of the cosmos through Chaos.

>not the first Atheist album
It definitely had the edgiest lyrics.

your life will never be the same

WOAH OH OH OH OHHHHHH AH AH HA HAAAAAA AH AH HA

If a European band plays shows in the states, are they automatically tourists?

All Inquisitions are the same so what does it matter

if a band tours they are, by definition, tourists

no

this is incorrect

but tourists are put off by the production of the pre-ODOTPMM albums

If a Polish band kidnaps a gang rapes a woman in the states, are they automatically based?

"allegedly"

oh please, anyone who can listen to the second wave, can stomach Inquisition's older shit.

allegedly based?

tourists can't

Based as fuck

THE DRAGON CALLS ME

a girl wanted to fuck a famous band, then she regretted it and called it rape. nothing new, nothing interesting.

it's not the production they have problems with, it's the vocals people oftenly bitch about.

Obviously.

>[seagull cries intensify]

>famous band
Debatable but the rest is pretty spot-on

including the mixing/production of the vocals

>being this biased
we'll see how things go, user
we'll see how things go

Girardi's new covers for older Inquisition releases shit all over Kramer's amateur hour trash.

reminder, please do not smoke around glam listeners, the excessive hairspray makes them extremely flammable

i can't stop listening to shitty demos that are 10% the quality of the canonical stuff

>reiusse with different cover art
the most tourist bullshit ever, L I T E R A L L Y rebranding a comoddity to make it more appealing to normies
Get it right the first fucking time or suck cock faggot

oh look its another blurry paintings of demons and shit in those same colors

or live versions where they fuck something up and then it's annoying when it doesn't happen in the studio version

>tfw bought first 2 Iced Earth albums with the inferior reissue cover art because the originals were slightly more expensive

they changed labels, you dip

post 10/10 metal band merch

Little more than that. Kramer is a massive neo-Nazi and Season of Mist didn't like the idea of reissueing artwork from a neo-Nazi, so they commissioned Girardi to do the cover for Obscure Verses and to redo their earlier albums as well. Humorously enough, Kramer had been actively working on the cover for Obscure Verses and had never been informed he'd been replaced.

Iced Earth s/t has like 3 different covers

The classic

...

This can't be real
>it's real
da fuck

I believe the falling angel is the original.

...

my god

I wouldn't doubt it, the only thing Shaffer is incapabale of doing is another good album after his first 3.

I thought it was this one

...

one doesn't punch bags with the dick

Dying Fetus - Wrong Twelve to Fuck With

*tips snapback*

This one is genius

>that failure at photoshop
amazing

Is it just me, or is the remastered version of Burnt Offerings miles better than the original mix?

I saw inquisition open for volahn last night and was pretty disappointed with inquisition; vocals were turned so low they were 100% inaudible, whole set was constant tremolo picking, songs were almost entirely unrecognizable, and I love all their albums and have wanted to see them live for ages

...

How good was Volahn?

I'm not that familiar with them but Volahn was fucking awesome, they fixed the mic problem and jammed, didn't sound like just a wall of noise and had actually distinguishable melodies. Their drummer shreds too, he was really good.

you lucky american bastard, I envy you

How's that trvehue chart comin' along?

bad sound can make a great band come off as total shit
i'm sure most of it was out of their control

Why would inquisition open for a shitty black taco circle band?

>This is fallaciously setting up a strawman for those bands that never propped up the question of anti-Christian sentiment in those terms
Saying that my understanding of the question hyperpoliticized is not seeing forest for the trees. As I said, the subjects might not even be aware of what goal they are helping to achieve. They might not even be political at all. But what they do or promote, even unawarely, by large serves the goals of destroying white culture and white-exclusive mentality. And this is what anti-Christianity is ALL about; I mean not satanism, not misanthropy, but specifically the very aim to destroy and smear Christianity. In the end it serves as nothing else but as a tool to make a given country less Christian, and thus less white—if only religiously and culturally. (but, on a side note, remember for a second the vigor of those taking off all crucifixes from public schools while creating Islamic praying facilities in them).
I agree music is music, but we are talking about a genre where Burzum and Gorgoroth are considered touchstone acts. Varg burnt churches, Gaahl said,
>"Church burnings and all these things are, of course, things that I support 100 percent and it should have been done much more and will be done much more in the future. We have to remove every trace from what Christianity and the Semitic roots have to offer this world."
While they probably explained their actions with fighting for pagan and even anti-jewish intentions, ultimately their anti-Christian activities only destroyed pieces of Western culture and attacked Western religion. It wasn't MEANT as political, but it served political gain for some.
And thus when BM unconsciously continues in this vein, they still serve primarily others' gain, and their own loss. Don't believe it's possible? Look at any liberal.
>DSBM
It's a bit different from self-hatred though. Depression is depression, it's not equal with self-hate. Suicide is bad for you though

This has been my experience with Inquisition everytime I've seen them live
Great on record, unintelligible trash onstage

Stop posting

what do you lads think of the new electric wizard song
vocals kind of weak but I'm glad they seem to be done with their droning stoner stuff

>replying to an hour old post from a previous thread

Wrong Twelve Fuck With?

>Luciferianism: Sees Lucifer as a savior and liberator of mankind, and God/Jehovah/the Demiurge, as the true entity of evil.
Didn't Blake point out that the Old Testament's Satan is actually the God of the New Testament:
>The history of this is written in Paradise Lost, and the Governor or Reason is call’d Messiah And the original Archangel, or possessor of the command of the Heavenly Host, is call’d the Devil or Satan, and his children are call’d Sin and Death. But in the Book of Job, Milton’s Messiah is called Satan. For this history has been adopted by both parties. It indeed appear’d to Reason as if Desire was cast out; but the Devil’s account is, that the Messiah fell, and formed a Heaven of what he stole from the Abyss. This is shown in the Gospel, where he prays to the Father to send the Comforter, or Desire, that Reason may have Ideas to build on; the Jehovah of the Bible being no other than he who dwells in flaming fire. Know that after Christ’s death, he became Jehovah.

Are those Liz's tits?

Do these bands have a running contest to see who can make the absolute gayest album cover?

Your selfie would win

I saw them Saturday, at least for that show Volahn showed them up I thought. Uada were pretty meh but I don't know much about them. The opening band was some shitty CoF worship or something, made me chuckle at least.

jeez, another sabbath worship

I sure hope so, but I guess we'll never know

What instrument does Capeman play?

trombone

drums I think

>album has two different covers
>they are both shit

>look it up
>oh, its posted on metalsucks
>"Yesterday, Electric Wizard announced that they’ll release a new album called Wizard Bloody Wizard, which, of course, any metalhead worth his or her salt will immediately recognize as an homage to U2’s “Sunday Bloody Sunday.”"
>U2

It's obvious sarcasm you cuck

I was wrong
