Just don't kill yourself, or find a better way then hanging, figure out if it's really worth taking your life over what you're going to kill yourself over. If you really feel like killing yourself is the only way, do stronger somewhat thick rope, so it doesn't snap, don't drop too high or you'll break your neck and it will be more agony then you would have with thick rope

No, thinner rope would be more painful. The greater the surface area the less pain. Strangle yourself with something soft, apply pressure slowly for the least amount of pain.

that's ultimately a good idea, but I sincerely think the rope is going to make its way off the collar and burn you anyway, the body tends to move quite a bit you know, you can't control that.

just to be clear the objective of hanging is to snap the spinal column not to suffocate you. I dont suggest anyone to do it, but if it was to be done you must jump off a branch of a tree or something so that you fall 6ft or more before the rope would tension

Those are times to fully die, not for you to pass out, your body doesn't instantly die, the shotgun one I'm a little skeptical about, but the rest I believe is close, some you go into shock before others, and some you pass out from because of pain, it's just a rough estimate.

Piercing your brain with a bullet is not insta-death like you may think, it takes some time to bleed out and is pretty painful, imagine sleep paralysis but with the feeling that you got shot in the head.
