I'm 24. I smoke weed and drink big delicious beers. Started smoking at 18 and drinking at 19. The only other drugs I've done are Ritalin and Adderall. I would like to try LSD. I graduated from a "public ivy" with a B.S. in biology. I'm currently in my first year as a medical student.
My favorite album of all time (stoned or sober) is Embryonic by The Flaming Lips. If you only can make it through one song then listen to Silver Trembling Hands.
Otherwise I dig psychedelic shit, shoegaze, prog rock, some indie/alternative, hip-hop/rap, soul, jazz.
You feel the vibes a bit crisper but also in a weird state of mind.
It makes you see things you didn't notice before.
It also acts as a form of meditation which affects what you hear and interpret.
Listen to more grunge and stoner metal.
Then you'll stop listening to the Lips... not because they're bad, but because it doesn't hit you as much sonically.

LSD is a direct line to the euphoria i felt as a little kid, where everything is exciting and strange and hilarious.
Alcohol is essential for the feeling and the social aspect of it. Sometimes I just gotta loosen up and get drunk and sing.
Not a super fan of weed, but I have smoked a lot in some periods of my life. It's a good drug if you have nothing to do or feel like not really caring about anything.
Coke is the ultimate party drug duct tape. Too tired? Coke. Not having fun? Now you are. The problem is people that are on coke are incredibly annoying, even if you're on coke yourself.
MDMA was a bit of a waste of time, the feeling is enjoyable but too easily lends itself to anxiety. I 100% don't get why people take this drug at festivals.

Started at 16. Have done about every drug in the book except meth. My favorite is probably ketamine and acid, but heroin and cocaine are awesome too. Not a fan of MDMA. Acid and weed are the only ones I still regularly do, more so acid becuase I love listening to music on it.

I dont have a playlist I like to experience all music high. I will say ketamine was partially the reason I got into punk rock, or maybe increased my love for it. I like listening to really dark music while tripping. Tool, nirvana, alice in chains, Bones, whirr to name a few. Any music is good with weed. Alcohol and coke I listen to rap.

For those of you who have done psychedelics, how many times have you done them vs bad trips / negative experiences.
I kinda want to try them but the stories spook me a bit.
Im this guy. 19. Ive tripped 50+ times. Most of my trips have been more or less negative, but Ive learned to enjoy the bad trips. They are incredibly intense. Ive only had 2 or 3 really bad trips, like black out took too much when I wasnt ready kinda trips. Tho Ive also struggled with depression and doing acid alone while depressed is a recipe for a bad trip. ts all about the setting. Do it with some close friends, turn on some good music and just jam. You'll be fine. I bet a lot more of my trips would of been good if it werent for clinical depression
Honestly if you aren't depressed or have bad anxiety and you trip in a place your comfortable in then the chance of having a bad trip is practically zero especially if your with a close friend. Also just take a normal amount your first time like 1 tab

I've lite-tripped once and full-tripped another. The full trip turned bad but that's mostly because we started late and it got dark outside like 2 hours in, which made my mood dark and I also got paranoid that what we took was poisoned or something. For about an hour I felt like I had 5 seconds left to live.
Probably would've stayed a good trip if it had just been daylight out the whole time I was peaking. But the first hour or two of daylight was great, I'd say it's worth the experience. And after that hour of thinking I was dying and making myself vomit 5 times, I was calm. So bad trip for like 1 out of 7-8 hours. I also have pretty severe anxiety and depression, but if you just go in with a strong mindset you'll be fine. Don't take it in a place that makes you uncomfortable, or with people you're not comfortable with, and take no more than like 200-250 micrograms and you should be fine
Oh, and just be prepared for your body to feel uncomfortable/nauseous--that doesn't mean something's wrong so don't freak out. Maybe have a Tums. It's an intense feeling like your body/mind is on a rollercoaster, and you'll change thoughts and moods often. You might feel cold and put a jacket on and then feel too hot and take it off, put it on, etc. and it'll make you restless so make sure you're rested before you drop or you'll feel tired but be unable to rest for several hours

The only bad trip I've had was at a party that a girl tried killing herself at. Even then it was just more weird and unsettling instead of full blown freak out. Acid I'm usually too busy frying out(1 or 2 tabs) sometimes I get a bit anxious if I eat a bunch of shrooms but I find it pretty easy to tell myself "you took drugs to feel this way user"
