Sup mu. So as the cold weather creeps into the northern regions im looking for all the disturbing, eerie, and just evil music i can find
Music about walking alone in the woods, feeling a presence behind you, understanding the creeping horror of being alive, smelling the stink of death, seeing the face of the devil, etc. Etc etc.
All genres, from metal to dark.ambient are welcome.
Pic related, its the latest thing ive been into, to give you an idea of what im looking for
Black mountain transmittor >dark ambient Dragged into sunlight- terminal aggressor >noise/ dark ambient Christian death- only theater of pain >death rock/goth punk Bloody gears- landscapes of disease and shallow remains >goth punk Street sects- end position >synth punk/industrial hardcore Plastic- plastic >synth punk/goth punk Grouper Type o negative

Joseph Powell
Bruh, good taste.
Eli Collins
listen to it, very eerie compared to his other works
Camden Thomas
Hell of a good list, haven't heard the majority of these artists before.
Ayden Fisher
Prurient-Frozen Niagara Falls Lots of range, with some really creepy songs. Lots of noise though, in case you don't like that.
You covered most of it, but I'd rec: Lustmord >Dark Ambient Those Who Walk Away >Ambient, Field Recordings, Spooky WOLD-Screech Owl >Blackened Noise, Dark Ambient TREPANERINGSRITUALEN >Industrial, Noise Hair Police-Mercurial Rites >Noise, Experimental, Creepy as fuck Nurse With Wound >Experimental, Avant-Garde Today is the Day >Avant-Garde Metal, Noise, Eclectic
Ian Morris
Glad you liked it. I wish Phurpa incorporated more instrumentation, I guess throat singing doesnt resonate with me much, powerful nonetheless.
Parker Ward
great rec
i'd also recommend the first Raime album and anything by Deathprod
Anthony Howard
I don't wanna be rude, but the album you posted sucks. I usually like noise, but Rectal Struggle is super boring.
Jeremiah Rivera
Bless user, I hope you get laid this week.
Ryan Brooks
Sunn O))) Whitehouse (Listen to Cut Hands if everything else is too harsh) Prurient Sutcliffe Jugend (Listen to The Bad Mannered Prophet if everything else is too harsh) Deathpile Gnaw Their Tongues Black Cilice
Connor Brown
>I wish Phurpa incorporated more instrumentation I get that, they're not a band I pick up very often but when im in the mood there's nothing quite like it
Justin Ross
>COTA >never see it mentioned Someone on this board actually recommended COTA to me some months ago.
Ian Ward
So pretty much black metal?

Aiden Green
I'm preparing a "Spooky" folder on my mega acct (pic related) for October
What else could/should be added? Gimme the essential spooks.
Justin Sullivan
>Deathpile My man. You should add some other notable power electronics like Whitehouse, Sutcliffe Jugend, Grunt, Genocide Organ, and Prurient.
i still am kind of undecided if this band is actually good or not. it will undoubtedly be grating to most, but it would fall under black metal. kind of unsettling, and definitely weird sounding
I shall, I snagged some early Whitehouse off Soulseek a couple months back. I'll look for some older Sutcliffe as well. Also snagged some more noise off some scuzzy russian forums.
btw everything will be in flac/m4a/320 mp3 ;)
Joseph Brooks
Fuck yeah, only heard nww, lustmord and today is the day off this list so I appreciate it. This thread is gonna be a goldmine for me once I come off my tolerance break and it's cold. Gonna lose my life for a little while and I'm excited to feel fear
Brayden Bailey
Godspeed OP. You've already got plenty of great stuff in there.
Christian Moore
Fuck, that's the best feeling, I gotta take a break before October.
Robert Ramirez
indeed it was my friend
Alexander Taylor
lol yeah it was probably me then. I went through a ritual industrial kick a few months back and I tend to rec people shit im into at the time
Nolan Lopez
Do it man, that was my exact thought process (plus I ran out of money). It sucks but just get rid of all your shit to someone else for the time period if it's a self control issue. ive been smoking an 1/8 a day for a while now so it's a long time coming
Carter Perez
>tfw familiar with all of those except psychonaut and vishudha kali
know a few, not op but thanks for introducing
Logan Ramirez
>psychonaut unfortunately they turned into a shitty agrotech band in the 2000's and pylon of daath is really their only unequivocally good release
Michael Walker
bumping because this is a quality thread, better than the current industrial one
Thomas Clark
I just realized I actually know them, Michael W. Ford did pic related that I got from an mediafire link with tons of folders of occult stuff
Also I looked it up on discogs and they seem to have more dark ambient stuff, at least until 2005, including a split with Aesthetic Meat Front
