Love/Hate : Fucking love it because I can
destroy other peoples eye vision.

You make decent money?

>Money : 3700 per month
learn to read, you faggot

UPS delivery driver
$35.69/hour
Love: Freedom of not having someone over your shoulder
Hate: Bad weather, longer hours

is that before or after taxes?

OP here.
Yeah but its really bad for my health. Argon is a fucked up gas.

HEY BROOO
MIG/TIG WELDER
Work those 5 to 4 5 days a week

Job: Web developer freelance
Money: 0 still starting out
Love/hate: I love being in charge of my own schedule... that works both ways tbh.

job: CAD designer/CNC programmer
money: $65k/year
love/hate: pay sux, but i love what i do

OP here.
Weld every damn day !

job: product R&D
pay: $104,000 USD/year countin bonus and LTIs
love/hate: a little of both, but they're paying for my doctorate so I put up with the corporate bullshit

Job: Nothing, can't get a job no matter how hard I try.
Pay: Nothing, I can only save up around $200 a year.
Love/Hate: All hate. It sucks knowing that you're not considered 'good enough' to do anything.

job: Junior Doctor (FY1) currently training as an anaesthetist

OP here.
Try hard, never give up, if you don't know how to do it ASK!! People will see you are interested in the job and they will help you and give you a chance.

you seem underpaid. we pay process engineers more than that just to make sure liquid nutritionals get from the tanks to the bottles.

how many hours a week?

>Freedom of not having someone over your shoulder
Confirmed fucking fake: UPS drivers have had someone digitally over their shoulder for like the past three years now. They're allowed a lousy 5 fucking minutes per stop and if they go over that, supervisors come down on them instantly.
Also, how many decades did you work in the sort facility to get there?

Thanks OP.

That's a shitty weld my god

23000 for a doctor, uk confirmed socialist shithole

Job: Night shift warehouse manager
Money: ~80k a year
Love/Hate: Overall the job is fine but some of my co workers are retards. And the pay is nice.

>being wrong at all costs

It's good pay for where I live. There are maybe only a handful of engineering jobs in this city that pay more than this with my level of experience.

Ebay seller, turnover about £8K per month, nearly 50% gross profit but lots of tedious packing and idiot buyers.

>implying all new doctors in the USA make bank
>implying he has to pay for his own healthcare or insurance for it
>implying he has a mountain of student loans to pay off

I still think you should ask for a raise. what would you be making in the nearest metro area?

CNC Mill Machinist

35/hr

45-50 generally

I'm talking literally over my shoulder and watching. The black box is hardly anything to worry about. I've never been talked to for digging for packages. If you can't find it in 5-10 minutes than move on and come back later. Sort while you search

I worked in building for 6 years before being a driver. Though I didn't bid on any driver positions until the last year I was in building

pretty much this

Not having to pay for my own healthcare and the fact that I get to keep all my earnings is pretty good. Another thing that sucks about medicine in the UK is the divide between nurses and doctors, it's really fucking bad. I've heard US hospital staff are cohesive as shit.

>$65k/year
>to sit in a chair and suck back soy milk all day
>pay sux

I'm a Software Engineer, at my current place I earn £30k a year, recently handed in my notice though and going to be doing consultancy and expect to get paid about £50k

Only been doing it about 3 years so the ramp up is pretty good if you look for the right opportunities.

>butcher
>$22/h
>boring as hell but doesn't have any education requirements and the hours are alright.

that depends on the institution and the people in it. Some places are toxic and others are not. University hospitals are usually pretty good, local clinics are not.

Job: Indep game developer
Money: 1600 per month
Love/Hate: Love it because I'm not anthony birch or phil fish

You could make more on social security

I'm honestly considering sitting the exam to practice in the US, and then moving over. No debts and I get to bank the mad US private healthcare coin

>office drone
>14k/y
>job is tolerable
>money is garbage

>Job: Indep game developer
>Money: 1600 per month
>Love/Hate: Love it because I'm not anthony birch or phil fish

Union Heavy Highway Carpenter. Mostly do bridges and big concrete jobs. Lots of stick welding when doing a bridge Deck. 33/hr take home. 17/hr benefits (healthcare, pension, annuity. Work 8 to 10 months a year and collect 560 a week in unemployment when not working. It's not bad. A ton of overtime most of the year.

Same,

>Agency butcher
>$23/h
>I work with an agent and get to choose the days I work all year long. (weeks off whenever I want)

Currently work in a fishing company. Mainly we fish for import purposes.
Waiting I can get enough money to start my dream.

sweet hyperbole, bro, but as a single white male who hasn't fathered any childrens you're patently wrong.

Dude I make more throwing shit on shelves at a supermarket lmao

Wait, what happened to Anthony Birch?

I haven't followed him since the early days of HAWP.

That sounds like a pretty sweet gig. I just work in a supermarket.

OP here.
Whats your dream ?

not surprised, I did the math and I work p much minimum wage

Job : Forest ranger.
Money : 2900 dollars per month.
Love/hate : I love it. Get to spend all my time in the woods. And I get a car plus cabin for free as long as I work here.

Last I heard twitter got a whiff of a sex scandal involving him and using his position for leverage, then he just vanished from the internet.

It looks like this weld was smoothed over with torch only, no rod, which is kind of cheating tbh. If you can't lay nice dimey beads with rod in hand on your first pass you need more experience.
That's not to imply torching over it isn't a bad way to make it look a little nicer but it's not pro level shit.

The down side is that I hit the road quite a bit since I'm available in a 150km radius(gas money provided) I personally don't mind the drive though.

I don't know of butcher agencies exist where you live but you might wanna look into it

well your accent guarantees you a lot of tail so why the fuck not?

Have you ever seen big foot?

I love how in this kind of thread there is always those guys cheating on their paycheck, and those guys admitting their job is shit, and paid shit

It seems unreasonable, but I've really wanted to compete in racing as a team managet. Bad news is, the country where I love is a shithole and money is scarce.

do people here write pre-tax or what ?

>freedom of not having someone over shoulder
Maybe it is different where you work but the Ups I worked for was like a sweatshop. You never were good enough you always had to be faster or better and you would hear about it either when you got back to the the bays or the next morning. Saw a few people quit because of this. They were in bad health, blood pressure issues, because of how demanding our bosses were.
Fuck ups

web designer
upwards of 10,000 a week

OP here.
I work maybe 3-4 months with TIG.

Job: I manage an apartment I own as an airbnb for tourists
money: average 1.600 €/month
love/hate: love it takes only about 4 hours a week. Hate: filthy people, it doesn't happen often. Also hate people incapable of following really easy instructions like "walk straight and you'll find the subway".

Rsr lift driver
41k/yr
Easy job / corporate and management are retards who have never done the job but think they know the most productive way of doing it.

Yes but I was completely bombed shit drunk so don't take my word for it.

Clean your parent metal better prior to welding. Your sugaring the toe of the weld which is a default

why tig weld that boss? quicker and just as good to use the mig there.

do you have a dog named Lassie?

OP here.
Every month at 15th we get payed

Your dumb if your enhaling argon while welding tig. All you have to do is literally be above the torch. Argon is heavier than air so if your drowning, you're doing it wrong

Job: 2nd year apprentice mechanic
Pay: $2300 a month
> Manager is a fat cunt
>Workers are drug fucked

Why the fuck are all the ups drivers in my area autists? Is that common? I've had packages thrown into my garage, have watched them Naruto sprint to my door then run off without knocking or ringing. Or they leave packages out in fuckin storms that could easily fit in the storm door.

argon is an inert gas, jts harmless unless thats the only thing you breathe

Construction while i save to go back to college next september
30k/yr
Pain in the ass and boring as fuck but most of the lads are sound

OP here.
People who do this stuff "don't have time" for this

Nice. I prefer tig over mig and stick because no splatter and more control

fuck off im a qualified boilermaker i know what im talking about.

Your burning it at an intense heat and creating ozone in the process which is not good for you

What local faggot?

Scottish accents are considered attractive in the US? Since when? We're famous for groundskeeper willie

OP here.
When you're in this fucker inside for 2-3 h argon becomes the only thing you breath in.

local?

Sure you do

Auto adjuster, I get to work with cars so I enjoy it
64k

Looks like a cakewalk. Try wriggling into a steam drum and doing return bends

Mig doesn't give you as strong a weld. And it looks like shit. You can be a qualified cook and still make shitty food. Because you are lazy or don't care about producing quality work.

County Road and Bridge department: heavy equipment operator/welder/mechanic.
~25k a year
Pros: spend most of my time just driving around or sitting in an office on my phone. Good coworkers and boss.
Cons: pay is shit, free insurance is worthless, winter work can be rough.

you mean like an insurance claim adjuster?

Boilermakers are union. What local do you work for unless your a scab

so no then. got it.

Radiologist
Used to make 250k, now started my own business and startup...pay now 50k without benefits but I love what I do and being in charge.
Nothing like fucking your wife in your office when the day is over

I work mining in Western Australia. Im not american

Outdoor Furniture Salesman 12k per season (8months) and around 35-45k comission.

Bit stressfull but usually fun.

This. Also that's a shitty weld and would fail quality control, a trained monkey could do better.

Idk what universe you live in that ~45k a year isn't good money but it must be nice

you dont need a strong weld if all that boss does is hold a screw in it. plus crank it up and bevel the boss its not going anywhere.

Job: Music producer and sound designer for games, commercials, TV series and movies
Money : $2370-4740 per month. Depends on the projects. Sometimes it can go as low as $1900 or higher than $4740.
Love/Hate : Love it. Dream come true. I get to work from home, in professional studios and outdoors while traveling.

>a trained monkey could do better.
That's all welders are TBH, there's no real skill involved, it's just repetitive donkey work.

thank you, looks like they just walked the cup to make it look like a good weld, concave shape looks like they havent even used filler rod.

NEET. But I do have professional qualifications in IT.

you have absolutly no idea what your talking about. the people who say that havent really tried welding before

Let me guess where you're based. Fremantle or Wangara?
