Not a music video but this rapper from my city just did an entire interview while a chick is drugged and handcuffed on the floor the whole time. Kind of cringy but his music isn't bad youtube.com/watch?v=GNZ6jqjs6B8
Familiar with most of the EP, gave the thing a full spin again, Paranoid London is still a gem, as well as the rest of the material, Smog Room has the potential to be even bigger than it is. Probably one of the more promising guys on the thread, in my opinion.
I review music and artists, as well as other comedic music related content, on YouTube. If you enjoy subscribe and support this project. My goal is to expose people to music in a way that isn't being done by anyone else.
gonna be dropping a lot of music on these platforms throughout the rest of the year featuring wide stylistic range so pls hit that follow button. (band camp is my main)
I like the feel of tuner-boreallis! The repeating melody synth could be widen so it doesn't feel so locked in with the bass. A little more spice in the drums could help drive the awesome groove you have going. Really like the string pad you have in the back.

Hello Sup Forums here's my cough syrup fueled creation, please don't bully, but feel free to tell me why it's shit in a constructive way. I wouldn't bother you guys with it, but I don't really have anyone to share it with. It's pretty repetitive so feel free to stop it after about 30 seconds if it's too much for your tender ears. Thanks for taking the time. youtube.com/watch?v=xKQYBk7DZxA
not too bad, but I thought this was for sharing music? Anyway keep a it, I've seen way way worse.
Noah Cooper

Samuel Stewart
Do I dare listen to prototype 1?

Elijah Ortiz
Honestly I listened to snippets of each one for like the last 10 minutes and the only that seems like shit is the In the Court of the Owl one. The rest are actually entertaining desu. Owlless made me kek when some reverbed out owl just starts screaming.
here's some until the quiet comes flylo type stuff inspired by the twin peaks finale, complete with extensive use of bass guitar (what I play), I haven't got much experience making beats (did it a little a while back and just started again), feedback appreciated soundcloud.com/bphkt/meanwhile

to be more precise, the thing you start at 1:11, it's really good
Owen Morris
Honestly two of those posts are from me. This is just actually interesting.

blackmajick.bandcamp.com/track/verge >weird edm stuff. This is meant to be part of a soundtrack. Mix is shit-tier, I already know that. How do I fix?
Go ahead Sup Forums, rip me apart.
Camden Lewis
I actually really like this.
It's moody and dark with a clean mix. You didn't overcomplicate things and it works out very well. I can see parts of this working in a gam soundtrack.
Tyler Clark
Or maybe even a game soundtrack
Ryan Torres
thanks! Yeah it's really hard to know how much is too much, but I try and keep it simple. Also working with ableton lite which only has 8 tracks does a lot of that for me hahaha
Thinking of moving my YT channel to another site like Newgrounds or Soundcloud, what would you guys recommend as a youtube replacement?
Sebastian Evans
ey that's pretty good, what kinda program/plugins do you use?
William Ward
I can always count on Flonch for quality Music Tunes
Thomas Johnson
Thanks! :D I use FL Studio. Everything in that track comes with the standard edition. I usually like to use massive too but I don't have it on this laptop.
>Classical >Medieval >Renaissance >currently working on album with elements of progressive rock, psychedelic rock, folk, classical, neo-medieval, and experimental
It's pretty clear where your inspirations lie, and I don't mean that in a bad way.
This is actually very nice. Can see this in a movie, great job. Only negative for me is that it isn't put together as smoothly as it could be. Sections seem very cut off from others, kind of rocky. That is my only criticism though.
______________________________________ >rap, hip hop, boom bap,
if anyone could tell me what they think or what they think my target fan base musically would be (basically what other bands/rappers people would like if they liked my music) id really appreciate it
Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Brand New, Alex G, Townes Van Zandt? Or what were you thinking? I'd be interested to hear what it sounds like to other people.
That's you rapping? Sounds pretty cool. I don't really know anything about music but it sounds like that edit - ants song with rap over it. I'm from Canada as well.
Nathan Smith
Thanks man, and yeah aside from a few artists I can't think of. Kind of reminds me of Andrew Bird for some reason: youtube.com/watch?v=j1Aha3JjELY
Any and all feedback appreciated, we are trying to get better mics into play.
Ayden Rogers
You should really put more effort into your music. Don't just make a part that goes for 20 seconds and loop it for 3 minutes. NOBODY is going to want to hear that. It gets monotonous really quickly. If you expect people to listen and enjoy your music, then give them a reason to. Write a melody. Explore pitch, rhythm, dynamics, texture and structure. Think about music-making from the perspective of the listener. Would you want to hear a whole album of songs like this, wherein each song consists of roughly 20-30 seconds of unique music, which is just looped for 3 minutes.
You should keep working with the track. Add a melody, or some lyrics. Try adding different sections that use different sounds, like verses and choruses. You can keep the main choir part looping throughout, and then just put the other parts on top. There should be a sense of progression in the track, like you're working towards something, whether it be a climactic ending section or something like that.
Also a disclaimer were not really being serious with the clothes and shit but we wanted to make a music video for the songs we make for our friends just having fun
John Campbell
I make all sorts of electronic sample based music, also record guitar demos
>last stand way better than i expected dude, but for my personal taste it's a little too serious, dark and moody. But I still feel that it's very made for what it's meant to be.
