When I see a news report on homicide here, they either say that "The unidentified victim..." or "26 year old John Smith was murdered this weekend." When I see news reports out of Chicago, they're just statistics. "27 people were shot this weekend with 8 killed." No names, just numbers. Black on black homicide is so common in some areas that it's literally not news. They've broken "If it bleeds, it leads."
The sad truth is that black lives probably matter to Sup Forums more than they do to blacks, unless that black was killed by a cop.
It's just not that newsworthy. Any time you have a gathering of young black males, violence is almost to be expected.
