2nd for ELITE G5s
>10+ win G5s only

3rd for the 3rd best G5

how is spring football going for everyone?
Have you had your spring game yet?
Is your team going to be good this year?

Please answer unironically

Illinois state's is next week

Ohio State's is this weekend.
Should actually be a good show. The major questions around the team this year are how are the receivers going to play and can they replace 3 first round?
Since no one ever runs the ball a whole lot in spring games we should get a pretty clear answer to both.

Wew mods. Shoutout to OP keeping the banned list going. We will not allow faggotry and especially anime into our 4chad(s).

4th for canes finally making it to acc title game

can Oklahoma fans out there who can say what the general impression is about how the Baker Mayfield situation is going to pan out? Is he going to get convicted? Is he going to get suspended? If so how long?

>no Navy
>no Houston
>no Southern Miss

"Elite" doesn't translate to blue blood, user.

no one ever said blue blood.

blue blood is term invented by teams that used to be good, and no longer are.

ELITE means ELITE NOW

>blue blood is term invented by teams that used to be good, and no longer are.
true.

see: Bitchigan

>blue blood is term invented by teams that used to be good, and no longer are.

Wrong. Blue blood is a term to describe teams that are consistently elite (by your definition), over years and decades.

When you say elite, you're really meaning a 1 season wonder.

stay mad that your team in in the tubes

tbqh Michigan was never a blue blood in the first place. They have 1 national championship since 1948, and that 1 national championship was exactly two decades ago.

Michigan likes to hype themselves up for all their wins in the first 4 decades of college football, but the fact of the matter is that they're nothing but a washed up team. They're Tennessee with more hype -if that's even possible- but hell at least Tennessee has two national championships since the Korean War, and one of those is more recent than Michigan's most recent.

>tfw renewed season tickets and can get extras for my gf until after the renewal deadline

literally never get a gf after you buy your seats

he MIGHT sit out one game, most people are pretty sure he's gonna get a slap on the wrist
I'm not really sure why he's decided to plead "not guilty" though...I assume its to negotiate some sort of bargain but I'm kinda nervous what contesting the charges might make of this whole mess

No telling on whether or not he'll be convicted for anything. All things considered given the charges even if he is I'd be SHOCKED if he got anything other than probation or community service. I'd also be surprised if he didn't get suspended for the UTEP game and even more surprised if he wasn't back for Ohio State.

This is objectively correct.

What did the mods do? Did they delete the old thread?

21st for Go Gators

>tfw elite

Reminder

yep it was nowhere near dying

those uniforms + matte helmets are pretty fire tbqh family

Arkansas State is having a damn skills contest/ "Fan Fest" this year instead of a spring game.

A-State is coming for that Troy State ass!

>Spring game?
This Saturday
>Is your team going to be good this year?
Yes. 10-11 wins and CFP.

lifeofwyo.blogspot.com/2017/04/have-you-ever.html

Coach Ohno has Nick Saban's number this year.

Post sensible CFP picks
1. USC
2. Bama
3. Ohio State
4. Florida State

1. Same huge school
2. Same huge school
3. Same huge school
4. Same huge school

>Ohio State

...

it feels like JT Barrett has been here forever

will this dude remember how to throw this season?

>Ed Warriner and Tim Beck out
>Kevin Wilson and Ryan Day in
Yes

that's an improvement I guess

with our 2014-15 class doing so damn well in the NFL it makes that M State game hurt so much worse

Which conferences are the p5 of fcs?

Ivy League
CAA
Big Sky

Add Southland and you're right.

Florida State doesn't get in to the playoffs after Bama beats them soundly in the opener. They'll probably win the ACC Atlantic but drop 1 or 2 games to some combination of NC State, Louisville, and Clemson. They'll go up against VT in the ACC championship and despite a win they won't make the playoffs.

I'm going to guess the CFP teams in no particular order are:

Alabama
Oklahoma State
USC
Ohio State

Tim Harbaugh gets put on the hot seat for losing to aOSU three times in a row and Gus Malzahn gets fired for losing to UGA and Alabama for the fourth straight year.

>#19 ranked team
>not elite
Is this possible?

good luck winning 10 games.

Arky State literally spills their spaghetti all over OOC games

Let's not be too dramatic here. The boldest I would say is:

AAC > MW > SB ≥ CUSA > MAC

The Southern Conference won 5 FCS Natties in 9 years from 1998-2007

App stopped having a Spring Game several years ago.

Per my understanding, it counts as an official practice under NCAA rules --which means one less regular spring practice for the team.

Our HC Satterfield and yours, Anderson, must agree that a full spring practice is worth more than a scrimmage.

Yeah but without Georgia Southern and App State it's complete shit.

Nebraska's is this weekend. Excited to see the new QBs. Both the first and second string were seniors last year. I also wanna know what feel-good meme thing they're gunna do to get nominated for an espy.
>expectations
4 losses. Again.

I agree. I will never not want to kill Tim Beck for not winning the Natty with that team. That was one of the most talented teams in the history of college football.

Just remember the past 2 years Kevin Wilson has been averaging like 40 points per game with limited talent at Indiana against the same B1G teams that Ohio State was struggling against with top caliber players.

>Liberals are banned ITT
No lesbians then, that's too bad.
>no faggotry
Literally what else do we do here
>no Debbie
You'd like her if you got to know her, user.

Sup.

This

>SBC = CUSA

Not even close. CUSA spends more money and is having a down year cuz realignment is fucking with them, but they have more bowl tie-ins and consistently more hoops revenue to offset football.

They're back at full strength in 2017 so watch the fuck out.

ACC BTFO by NC

Wake Forest might follow along, they're super conservative. Duke, not so much.

didn't start following football until 2008
what do i need to know about this guy

>the conservative uni might leave the ACC if the NC legislature passes a conservative bill

I don't follow.

Louisiana Tech and Western Kentucky are the only CUSA teams consistently better than most SBC teams though. Southern Miss MAYBE, but they aren't near as good without Fedora. The top of the SBC would probably beat everyone else 8-9/10 times.

It's probably not going to pass though. Was only submitted because yesterday was the deadline.

Still, I think legislation like this is smart. The NCAA cost the state of North Carolina a shit load of money by acting political. It adversely affected all of these universities that probably opposed HB2 in the first place. Good on the North Carolina legislature. Over at Reddit they think this is ridiculous but it only makes perfect sense.

Duke would be royally fucked if UNC and NC State left the NCAA. It doesn't really matter if Duke leaves or not.

You're not following I think. The bill states that, if passed, UNC and NC State will leave the NCAA if the NCAA boycotts events in the state again. The other user was suggesting that Wake Forest would leave too, probably because the administration is conservative and supports the bill and as an act of solidarity.

NC being based, apparently they are trying to outlaw gay marriage and make it a state issue. Wish Florida would follow but they won't since >muh Pulse shooting

Fuck what a waste, should've said FSU wins the chip or something

>Southern Miss MAYBE, but they aren't near as good without Fedora

Monken's last season was a glimpse of hope and Hopson is doing at least a Jeff Bower-tier job so far. It can only get better form here.

wake forest would find themselves in cusa or the aac if they bothered to leave. No other P5 league is taking them

...

They should grab Rice, Tulane, and Tulsa to found a "muh academics" conference.

>more bowl tie-ins
yeah, the bahamas bowl that basically no fans can go to.

Oh, and I forgot-- C-USA gets to play a 5-7 North Texas in the Heart of Dallas bowl

Whoop-dee-fucking-do

Coosa BTFO

>aac not even on list
kek

If i'm reading the article right, these legislators are basically saying that if the ACC boycotts them again, they'll leave and some other conference will take them, thereby punishing the ACC.

This.... this is so fucking stupid I can't even wrap my head around it. For the above paragraph to make sense, you have to believe that the B1G, Big 12 or whoever would supposed take them would be 100% OKAY WITH HB2. That's not even reality, which means these legislators do not live in reality. I am in awe of how fucking stupid these men are.

Here's the thing about that-- once upon a time, marriage was neither a state nor national issue, it was between you and your church. In the 1950s "family values" organizations passed laws that rewarded people for getting married. Things like housing credits, tax credits. Well now gay couples are just asking for the same thing, so because those original laws were federal laws, SO MUST THEY ALL BE. So equal marriage is literally the Republicans fault.

>extrapolating the entire quality of a conference based on one fucking year

Well I guess the Big Ten is the worst conference of all time , then.

lads lads okay right cool and all but

what if UNC left the ACC, and joined the SEC over the ACC boycotting North Carolina

The NC legislature legit thinks that the SEC would have no problem with HB2.

They might not be cool with HB2 but the thing is none of the P5 conferences who would take those schools would ever host their tournaments in nc anyway so why even show they care?

the sec would then take one team form the Big 12 and call it a day

Good blog wyo! Hope you're feeling better. Talk to your boss about moving away from Debbie. Tell him you have depression and she is aggravating your depression to the point that you are not productive at work. Your boss wants you to be productive so he will probably move you

shit man, what a home run for the SEC that would be, pick up UNC and OU

As a Tennessee alum and fan I have to agree.

>CB Grad Transfer from Clemson
>OT Grad Transfer from Cal
>Best receiving corps in /cfb/
>Mason fucking Rudolph
>Justice Hill

Who can stop us /cfb/?

THE Oklahoma Sooners

>fake porn lesbians are liberal

lol cucks

Still makes me smile.

>lost to Temple
>elite

kek

>if the B1G or SEC took UNC, the B1G or SEC would never ever ever hold a sporting event in North Carolina

How fucking stupid are you.

>still ranked #19 after losing to the team that won the aac
K

>Being in Tampa
>Florida's Armpit

>Ohio State

Why would the B1G ever host their tournaments in NC? They have access to Chicago, NYC, and DC. 3 major cities that make Charlotte look small time.

Most of the Big 12 teams are in the midwest so they just stick with the major Texas cities and Kansas City for their tournaments.

the SEC might have some wiggle room but Charlotte will have a ton of steep completion to host the tournaments with, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, and the major florida cities always being in the mix.

when will Michigan get good and stop getting btfo?

>Michigan is bringing back a total of 2 returning starters from last years team
>OSU has ANOTHER loaded, hungry team
/5/ this fall

nah, NCAA shot themselves in the foot by playing politics. First thread for NCAA being disbanded is being pulled. Long game

>"LJ Scott the deep man...LJ Scott running right...NO HE DIDNT GET IN!..OR DID HE?! YES!! TOUCHDOWN SPARTANS!!"

If Harbaugh couldn't get it done with a team that got more combine invites than Bama, will he ever?

he's veering towards bust/JUST tier desu

sure he's made Michigan relevant again but he hasnt really done anything aside from his antics

>me when OSU beats Michigan this year and rumors begin to circulate that Harbaugh wants to leave for the NFL

I'm going to fix the crisis Missouri valley has
>combine with summit league
>becomes super conference
>divide into 2 divisions
>grab some horizon league teams
