The U.S. is not the greatest country on Earth. Prove me wrong

The U.S. is not the greatest country on Earth. Prove me wrong.

>Pro tip: you can't

We went to the moon

The U.S.A. is the greatest government in the world because of our endless appeal system.

You win

Thank you.

We are the only country in the world wth free speech

Yes we did. About 50 years ago, for political reasons nonetheless. That doesn't mean shit now

There's our education system at work fellas.

Keep going, i'll wait

U.S.S.R. launched the first satellite earlier too

Can you name another country that truly has free speech. No. America is the only country that has free speech. Every other country has things that you are not allowed to say as it's hate speech or goes against the government. The very far left are trying to get rid of our free speech by creating laws for hate speech.

What about our amazing ability to make profit by breaking down trading tariffs and bringing American jobs to third world countries?

What about the right trying to bastardize the football players kneeling during the National Anthem?

That's someone else's freedom of speech sayi. They disagree with someone else's free speech. Beauty of America

True, but as soon as the right is able to they will take away that right. I feel that is hard to argue.

Any laws designed to limit free speech would be destroyed in the court systems. It would last for a few months at the most before being overturned

I agree, as long as there is not a Supreme Court that has a majority of extreme right. Look up Texas Vs. Johnson, about flag burning. Was upheld by only a 5-4 decision in the supreme court. These decisions depend on who is at the top in the end.

If you say you wish the kill the president and describe it, you could be arrested. Not exactly free speech. Same goes for any other country. Free speech, with exceptions.

>freest country on Earth
Haha, we literally have the highest incarceration rate per capita than any other country

NEXT

But I think physically going to the moon is a little bit more significant

Also too lazy to google the fact that this is obviously false. In every way

“Can you say why America is the greatest country in the world?
It’s not the greatest country in the world. That’s my answer… [turns to a panelist] Sharon, the NEA is a loser. Yeah, it accounts for a penny out of our paycheck, but he gets to hit you with it anytime he wants. It doesn’t cost money, it costs votes. It costs airtime and column inches. You know why people don’t like liberals? Because they lose. If liberals are so fucking smart, how come they lose so goddamn always? [turns to another panelist] And with a straight face, you’re gonna tell students that America is so star-spangled awesome that we’re the only ones in the world who have freedom? Canada has freedom. Japan has freedom. The UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia, Belgium has freedom! So, 207 sovereign states in the world, like 180 of them have freedom. [turns to the student who asked the question] And yeah, you… sorority girl. Just in case you accidentally wander into a voting booth one day, there’s some things you should know. One of them is: there’s absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we’re the greatest country in the world. We’re 7th in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, 3rd in median household income, number 4 in labor force and number 4 in exports. We lead the world in only three categories: number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real and defense spending, where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined, 25 of whom are allies. Now, none of this is the fault of a 20-year-old college student, but you, nonetheless, are, without a doubt, a member of the worst period generation period ever period, so when you ask what makes us the greatest country in the world, I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about! Yosemite?!

Other countries, including the U.S.S.R., have also done this.

And I repeat, that was almost 50 years ago. Also, that has little to do with what may be going on on the planet over 220,000 miles away

I knew most of the details of his rant by heart before I ever saw it. My opinion was not influenced by The Newsroom

It's the right to free speech. You have the right to free speech. That's not the same as free speech. You have the right to free speech and you could be arrested or killed for what you say. There is no free speech in America and there never has been.
