Yes, but it's how you look at it.
The album is a pseudo-concept album about a gut and his woman being separated by death. The man goes to hell and the devil tells him that his woman is still alive and that he can see her again if he brings him the souls of 1000 evil men. The man agrees and the devil hands him a gun. The album focuses a lot on the raw emotions of anger and pain of losing someone you care deeply for.
