Ask a guy who turned 62 yesterday anything.

why the fuck are you on Sup Forums?

/thread

What do you expect he would do instead?

Been here almost from day 1.

What's it like being that old? How many ppl have tried to kill you?

How long do you want to live? How long do you expect to live?

>What's it like being that old?
Not as bad as I thought it would be when I was in my teens.
Got arthritis from 50 years of guitar. Eyesight fading from perfect to +2 reading glasses. But all in all, health is good.
Still can hike 20 miles/day. Still scuba diving. Still flying planes. Still get an erection that can cut diamonds.

>How many ppl have tried to kill you?
Several when I was younger.
One almost succeeded. Spent a month and a half in the hospital when I was 30 and lost part of my right lung.

How many chicks have you banged in your lifetime? Also, you still get some action and how's it like?

What advice universal and personal would you give to others and yourself looking back on life?

Story behind the attempted murders?

post some proof or fuck off and go watch murder she wrote you decrepit old faggot

>How long do you want to live?
Forever!
At least until life stops being fun.

>How long do you expect to live?
Not a clue.
Most people who died yesterday had plans for today.

>How many chicks have you banged in your lifetime?
Never kept count.
Somewhere around 40 - 50. Got married at 29 which ended casual sex for me (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).

>Also, you still get some action and how's it like?
Still married. Used to fuck at least daily but it's slowed down to 2-3 times a week. The difference with age is basically more lube and more regular use of "devices".

what's your stance on the whole Snacks debacle?

>What advice universal and personal would you give to others and yourself looking back on life?

A few quick thoughts
Whatever you want to do with your life.....start working on it today.

80% of success is just showing up.

Don't fuck the green pussy.

Smoke lots of weed.

The most fun you'll have in your life are the times you might have died but didn't.

>The most fun you'll have in your life are the times you might have died but didn't.

this is so fucking true OP

>Story behind the attempted murders?
Worked as a contract engineer for a 3 letter gvt agency in Central America.
Paid well, but there was the occasional bullet flying out of the jungle. Had a few fly past my head and one hit me in the chest.
Then the pay didn't seem good enough anymore.

when would you say all the fucking gay loli anime porn threads started popping up

so. what's your stance on the whole Snacks debacle?

who got fat? you or your wife?

>post some proof or fuck off and go watch murder she wrote you decrepit old faggot

What would you consider proof?

so. what's your stance on the whole Snacks debacle?

Is there anything you regret a lot not doing like you should have or wanted to?

What is your favorite SCP?

>who got fat? you or your wife?
Well, we both weight more than we did in our 20's.
I used to be a lean, mean, 180 lbs.
In a constant battle to keep under 195, now.

Wife was about 125 when I met her.
Somewhere around 145 now but not really fat. Just a little more padded. Still think she's pretty hot for an old girl.

i bet he regrets saying he was here almost from day 1, because if he was he would have been around for the burning of W.T. Snacks.

Who's she?

How do you keep yourself from ending it?

a legal ID (like a driver's license) with time stamp and the date of birth must be visible.

Does your waifus vagina stinks? How ugly and loose has it got? Also, does she shave?

>Wife was about 125 when I met her.
>Somewhere around 145 now but not really fat

Q: whats the best thing you ever seen on b (explain)?

Are you sad about the steady increase of mainstream white sepremisist and people who would love to see WW3 happen?

Does she farts in front of ya and does it stink worse?

>Is there anything you regret a lot not doing like you should have or wanted to?

You kinda keep building a list of regrets as you age. But, yeah, a few stand out.

I wish I'd settled down sooner. I put my wife through a lot of worry.

Wish I'd made an effort to stay in touch with a few friends.

Wish I'd taken a few years and sailed around the world. Still may. But I'm getting a little old and sore.
I've always loved being out on the ocean.

Wish I'd made more of an effort to record some of my guitar work back when I was good.

Is there even a point to life? Seems meaningless

Is it true as you get older, you fear death less?

>a legal ID (like a driver's license) with time stamp and the date of birth must be visible.

I'm old.......Not stupid.

What is your favorite SCP? Mine is 093.

www.scp-wiki.net/scp-093

Any advice for a person who has never had ambitions or goals, just strode with it?

>Does your waifus vagina stinks?
Stink? No
Not as sweet as it used to be, though.
>How ugly and loose has it got?
Not bad at all. We never had kids so that kinda helps keep it tight.
Also, does she shave?
Shaves around the lips. Keeps a little short trimmed fur above.

>Are you sad about the steady increase of mainstream white sepremisist and people who would love to see WW3 happen?

No, that shit's been around all my life.
Idiots will be idiots and the best way to show them as idiots is to let them talk.

I do think the effort the suppress free speech is going to backfire on the politically correct crowd. But none of it really affects me.

>Does she farts in front of ya and does it stink worse?
Always has....always will....always stinks.
But that works both ways.

OP thank you for sharing your thoughts. Respect old fag

>Is there even a point to life? Seems meaningless

You're asking the wrong guy. I'm not a philosopher and not particularly religious.

If there is a point, it's probably just "enjoy".
It's a short ride in a small piece of infinite time.
enjoy.

>Is it true as you get older, you fear death less?

No.
Well, I don't really fear death. I see the end approaching rather quickly and I don't want to go.
I think there are going to be some cool things happening in the next few thousand years and wish I was around to see it.

>Any advice for a person who has never had ambitions or goals, just strode with it?

Worked for me.
Advice.....Learn to recognize an opportunity when it drops in your lap. Those are the easiest wins in life and if you miss it, it's gone.
Then wait for the next one.

Have you ever dropped LSD and if you haven't why not? ( Real acid not nbom or any research chemicals)
And what's your advice on money and how much I should be saving as a teenager?

you can hide all the personal information obviously.

If you were to lose your wife tomorrow, how would you cope with your loss and what's your advice on coping with losses of people we hold extremely close

>Have you ever dropped LSD and if you haven't why not?

Several times. Yeah, the real shit.
Incredibly mind expanding.
Saw things...thought things....felt things that have given me insights over the course of my life.

>And what's your advice on money and how much I should be saving as a teenager?

I like money.
I started investing some lawn mowing/paper route/picking tobacco money in the stock market when I was 14. Always enjoyed following trends, analyzing companies, looking for things others aren't seeing.
It was a hobby.
If you don't like doing things like that, spend all your money. Preferably on things that hold their value of appreciate.

Can you give me a history lesson on hippies from your perspective when you were younger?

>If you were to lose your wife tomorrow, how would you cope with your loss

I'd come apart. I have a tough time imagining life without her because, after all these years, I'm still in love with her.
But, I'd deal with it. Cry, mourn, pick up the pieces and go on with my life.

>what's your advice on coping with losses of people we hold extremely close

I have none. It just sucks and nobody can say or do anything that makes it any better.

Bumping. Definitely interested, just turned 21 and having an early life crisis.
Would like to know if you were alcoholic at some point and how you dealt with it, and if not, how you kept yourself happy in life. Thanks old/b/ro

I haven't ate in days, could you PayPal me $500 plox!!

>Can you give me a history lesson on hippies from your perspective when you were younger?

Well, I was never a hippie although I kinda looked like one for a while. I knew a lot of hippies and was at Woodstock in '69 although I was only 14 at the time.
It was just a fad. People pretending to be hippies for other people who were pretending to be hippies. There were probably only a dozen real hippies ever.
The whole sex, drugs, rock & roll thing was a fun time.
Then all the "hippies" turned to Disco and then became everything the said they didn't want to be. They're working for Goldman Sachs now.

>They became everything they didn't want to be
I don't think so, as Real hippies have all either passed away or are still rocking old balls.
And, Disco scene is for fucking hipsters and normies.

Any love advice for someone crushing on a cute awkward girl seen only at comic cons? I'm pretty awkward myself too.

You obviously haven’t been in a situation where you almost truly died. It isn’t fun.

From that vantage point, would you say it seems accurate that things in the past tend to end up being given disproportionate legitimacy (positive or negative) by successive generations because everything seems more pure in the abstract?

You seemed to imply something roughly similar to that in a couple places so I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on it.

>The most fun you'll have in your life are the times you might have died but didn't.

Fucking liar.

How did the war on drugs change the whole drug scene?

What's your favorite color?

Did OP leave?

>Would like to know if you were alcoholic at some point and how you dealt with it, and if not, how you kept yourself happy in life.

I'm more into weed.
Never really got into alcohol. I drink and definitely drank heavily at your age but it was more getting hammered on Tequila some Saturday night and not having another drink for a week or two.

My brother was an alcoholic. Drank himself into the hospital a few times. Went to rehab but could never get control of it. Everyone tried to help him but he wouldn't be helped.
Drank himself to death at age 31 and died alone in an apartment where he was only found a week later when people were complaining about the smell.
I remember my mother saying "Thank God it wasn't drugs" and just shook my head at the idiocy.

As for keeping myself happy. I don't. I've had some very unhappy times in my life. Overall, life's been good. But I get through the unhappy times by realizing that those times don't last forever and there are a lot of good thing to live for.
Sorry to hear about your life crisis but always keep in mind that things change with or without your help.
Steer them in the direction you want and you should do just fine.

Is OP left-handed, bc he LEFT

he just replied fag

That depends on the nature of the situation and how you're wired. As someone who has experienced that myself I can confirm I enjoyed it, all the way down to the point where your field of vision consistently feels like it's going to be the last thing you see I felt at home. It isn't really a one size fits all kind of thing.

no he didnt, where?

>Any love advice for someone crushing on a cute awkward girl seen only at comic cons? I'm pretty awkward myself too.

Go for it.
You may be embarrassed if you get rejected but it's better than looking back and regretting being too much of a pussy to make a move.
Trust me on this. I've been on both sides.

My wife was one of those girls that was beyond me. Fate gave us a moment to converse, then put us together again where I asked her if she'd like to hang out while I rehearsed with my band.
She did.
We rehearsed. The band left. She stayed.

What way does one "go for it" though? What do I say so as not to make things so awkward she says no just out of awkwardness?

>From that vantage point, would you say it seems accurate that things in the past tend to end up being given disproportionate legitimacy (positive or negative) by successive generations because everything seems more pure in the abstract?

I think I see what you're getting at.
I look back over the history that I was there to see and then I hear people talking about it and it's spoken about much more linearly than things actually happen. Things were much more chaotic in reality. I have to assume that this has occurred throughout history.
So, I'd say Yes.

If you were 30 again, what would you do different?

>How did the war on drugs change the whole drug scene?

Mandatory Minimum Sentences.
Those 3 words fucked a lot of people.

Cops and judges used to have a lot more discretion and were reluctant to ruin someone's life over some stupid mistake they made as a kid.
Now, judges can't really be judges and our legal system is poorer for it.

Happy belated Birthday to you, sir.

Wheres your favorite place you've been to?

What is your favorite porn fetish?

please answer about your favorite places. what are your favourite cities?

>What way does one "go for it" though?
Can't answer that because there are so any variables.
If you see an opportunity, grab it.
You say you're awkward. OK, embrace your awkwardness. Many girls actually find a little awkwardness cute and endearing.
Honesty doesn't hurt, either.
Have you talked with her at all?
Maybe just walk up to her and say "Hi...I've seen you a few times around here and kept hoping for an opportunity to meet you since, and I hope this doesn't sound creepy, I can't seem to be able to take my eyes off you".
Just a though but it might give you a direction.

What's the worst and most brutal thing you've ever done in your life. Do you regret doing it?

This, if you won't help him out you're probably a phony

>If you were 30 again, what would you do different?

Be less uptight about everything.

We've chatted a few times but I'll give that a go. Thank you user.

>Wheres your favorite place you've been to?

Maui

>What's the worst and most brutal thing you've ever done in your life.

Had a motorcycle stolen when I was 17. Worked all summer to buy the thing.
Found out 10 years later that an old friend had stolen it.
Systematically set out to ruin his life and cost him his job and his wife.
Looking back, it was a bit of a dick move but I really only have minor regrets.

Gotta go guys.
It's been interesting.
Be seeing you around Sup Forums.
