Vapor general. Vaporwave can often be categorized as slowed, sample based, and/or nostalgic music. It's typically released for cheap or free, and can be quite easy to make due to its lack of definition.
Some exciting new/upcoming releases: FIRE-TOOLZ - DRIP MENTAL Giant Claw - Soft Channel Machine Girl -...BECAUSE IM YOUNG ARROGANT AND HATE EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR
Most so-called vaporwave seems so phony (ironic, given the themes) when you compare it to Eccojams. I feel like most people who make vaporwave are just trying to copy that sound while failing miserably.

>FIRE-TOOLZ - DRIP MENTAL >Giant Claw - Soft Channel >Machine Girl -...BECAUSE IM YOUNG ARROGANT AND HATE EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR really wouldnt consider any of them vaporwave...
Connor Clark
how to make hard vapor that doesn't sound like some shitty gabber/house ?
Nolan Diaz
why does it become crunkcore at the end?
Josiah Wilson
OP are you sure you're not confusing vaporwave and digital hardcore?
Nathan Long
Vaporwave
It's vaporwave with harder elements. distortion, clinky metallic sounds, blastbeats, and yes, gabber bass. Do what you want.
Dominic Smith
What do you hope to gain from shilling digital hardcore to the vaporwave crowd?
Brody Anderson
I consider it vaporwave in certain circumstances.
Christian Williams
The only digital hardcore I shared was the new Machine Girl, fire-toolz is cross genre.
Nathan Carter
was simpsonswave/ youtube radio streaming the final nail in the coffin for the genre? I really can't see it improving with how saturated the market currently is.
just released 10 min ago, bask in the tropical depression
Elijah Roberts
kinda inconsistent visuals
music is scary in a comfy way, not very elaborate though
Dylan Campbell
good to hear some feedback, i was going for a slightly frightening sound / depressed / suffocating. like youre scared and alone, hallucinating in a jungle with strange carnivourous plants, with the feeling that you die a slow death in this strange place.
it's okay, but ideally a couple of reverbed chirping sounds (like chipmunked vocals with delay/reverb) and panning would go a long way towards making it sound spookier and more tropical.
Lincoln Ross
I recognize his skill but trap beats make me nauseous.
