>hadn't been called to the national team since the 90s because he missed 3 penalties in a row

The final of the old intercontinental cup in 2000 when Boca beat Madrid with 2 goals of Palermo in 10 minutes. Nothing will ever come close to that.

That was fucking sad. Think about it, anyone that wasn't a casual thought
>shit, if we have to celebrate a late 2-1 win over a last place Peru, we're fucked in the world cup
And don't try to tell me this was anywhere nearly as celebrated as Maradona's goal against England or you know, the final which Argentina won in that same world cup. Get the fuck out of here with your 2000s bullshit
Moraga knocking Uefadrid out of the Champions League

Asian cup final in Sydney, I was there live. Australia had the lead until extra time when korea scored. Atmosphere was tense but I never felt that we would lose and the final goal by Australia in overtime was just a great moment.

This. Super Bowl 50 was definitely great, but that team wasn't very good all things considered. That victory was mainly satisfying because Newton got his shit wrecked.
I'm so glad pic related got into the Hall this year. Super Bowl 32 and his subsequent 2000 yard season was all he needed to lock up is candidacy.

1. Steelers Super Bowl 40
2. Steelers Super Bowl 43
3. Penguins Stanley Cup 2009
4. Pirates Wild Card 2013
5. Penguins Stanley Cup 2013
6. Penguins Stanley Cup 1991
7. Penguins Stanley Cup 1992
Nothing will ever top finally experiencing the Steelers sealing the deal that first time. I'm old enough to remember the final Chuck Noll years, so it was a long time coming. The 2009 win was a far more exciting game, but my own excitement level was tapered by the win a few years prior. I was still pretty young for the Pens first two Cups, so my excitement level then was relatively superficial compared to these recent wins. If the Pirates ever manage to go all the way, they might take the number two spot.
*5. Penguins Stanley Cup 2016
Is this actually considered cheating or foul play? It seems like a risk vs reward tactical strategy to me, like intentionally fouling in Basketball.
You use your hands to stop a clear 100% goal and you get kicked out of the game, but you force your opponent to take another shot which he might miss. I don't get how that's dirty or wrong, it's a risk vs reward thing.
Unless I'm just completely missing something unique to the culture of soccer/football
It's seen as something that's dirty and dishonourable, you just don't do that in football
youtube.com
Without a doubt.
nice defending

brits are really something
Broncos winning the Super Bowl was great (born in 95 and only cared about sports starting 2005, so I never got to see their first two bowls), but I think the Xehawks getting cucked against Brady was the happiest moment. I fucking despise the Xehawks since they fucked the Broncos in the Super Bowl, but mostly because of their literal faggot nu male fans. If I could go back to a point in time for a sense of TRUE happiness it would be that day, just thinking about it gives me chills.
Oldfag here. You just don't know what Indy means.
