joji makes probably 7-8/10 music now, because his fanbase as Frank went to shit, Pewdiepie and H3H3 never really interested me but h3h3 seems like theyre very good at bitching about the adpocalypse for views, and Ian got branded as the 'content cop guy' so idk anymore.

I only really like watching his Content Cops now, Bad Unboxings are the reason I started watching him, but now they're not as fun to watch anymore because it feels forced. I feel like he peaked in 2016.

Never been a huge fan, watched some unboxing stupid shit video with a friend, it seemed kinda funny, not enough to make me look him up, listened to him on "the official" podcast and he sounds alright but other people there made the whole podcast shit.

Never liked him, he appeals to a younger crowd I think mostly, too much "lol random yelling" I read a bunch of shit about him being a shitty person but everything I find on him makes him seem like a nice enough dude who doesn't know what's good for him and often makes childish mistakes. Works for his crowd though I guess.

Watched the podcast he did with total biscuit, pretty good, watched some stuff when he was fighting a fair use case, seemed mediocre, the case was interesting though. Legal focused YouTube's made him more interesting.

Is there any evidence of Ian doing anything innovative or interesting on his channel besides CC? I tried looking into some of his other shit, but nothing (besides cameos on other channels) really struck out to me.

Kept it simple. People give pewdiepie shit for keeping it simple but hes made more money than any other youtuber. Dont really watch his videos but i do watch h3. I like the banter on h3's channel. Its unbiased and slightly witty. I put on one of h3's videos when im making lunch for work or taking a shower. Its good background noise and its sometimes interesting/funny.

Filthy Frank - steals all his jokes and premises from other older funnier comedians and comedy shows. He's only funny to young people that havn't seen those originals. My 20 year old cousin sent me like 30 videos from this guy and I watched each one and every single one was lifted from an old show, like kids in the hall, monty python, tom green, etc.... Was less funny than the originals. Also he's one of those people that thinks it's funny to be LOUD, so he just yells a lot, I'm not sure why this guy is popular.
Pewdiepie - boring, no personality, no humor. I think just 12 year old girls think he's cute that's probably why he got popular.
H3H3 - never heard of him.

Frank's videos used to be pretty good but he clearly doesn't want to make them anymore for whatever reasons and I'm fine with that. I think he'll still collab with max and ian given the opportunity.
I don't really have a problem with H3H3 and i watch their vids occasionally but i dont go out of my way to watch them. Podcasts are pretty entertaining but are usually reliant on a good guest (i.e. post, ian, justin, ppl like that).
Idubbbz (Ian) still makes fucking good shit but all people talk about is his content cops. Don't get me wrong, they're still good, but i appreciate some if his other videos a lot more.

Hit or miss with this guy. He does have some good and witty videos but they're not as consistent as I'd like. Has potential but he overdoes memes and changed over time. Don't like his channel really anymore but I'll pop in a couple of months just to see if there is a quality video.
Huge fan of all of those, i watch every h3h3 podcast, pewdiepie video, and the other two are kind of inactive but i know its a good day when they upload a video

I think Idubbbz is nice, I like his Content Cops and collaborations and I think he's a genuinely funny person. I love Filthy Frank, his older content is gold and his Pink Season album is one of the few that I can listen to without skipping any song. His Joji music is okay too. I know Pewdipie is a bit hated for being such a sellout and I don't watch him, but he seems a nice person to me. I like H3H3, and I think both their reaction stuff and their drama videos are very good. I like how self-aware they are.

I think he stopped putting much out because his channel was hit with a lot of reports (same reason Maxmoefoe abandoned his main channel). One more and it's gone. I liked HOW he wrote and filmed his stuff. It's clearly inspired by TaE:ASGJ, but was happy to go on wild tangents. Maybe the last 2 years or so were a bit disappointing, when he really focused on "lore" because then he boxed himself in and it got cringe-ier. I can't blame him for branching out into more music, but aside from his slanted takes on funny or edgey topics he really doesn't have much to add to the mainstream.

Overall, they've all gone a little down hill, or a lot. They're all past their peak, but I'd say Pewdiepie is the only one totally fine with where he is since he doesn't NEED anything to be successful, he can just do whatever till he finds a new groove, if he ever does.
