does anyone know anything about midi guitar? I want to turn my guitar into a sampler like Ian Crause did on DI Go Pop, but all google yields is equipment that makes guitar sound like horrible synth. I feel like it can't be that hard to trigger samples with a guitar if DI were doing it in the 90's. I'm not interested in hooking my guitar up to a computer to do it, i'd rather be able to do it live with hardware
