I don't know about their politics beyond being posi-core straight edge and vegan, but Fugazi, a socialist band, was a huge influence on them. You just want them to be redpilled because you like them. Oh, and they were a major influence on emo. Similar bands that are more conservative are Cro-Mags and Agnostic Front, though Agnostic Front is now questionable because the lead singer married a left wing anarchist from the crust band Nausea.
