Can someone just tell me how my bandcamp is looking?
You don't even really have to listen, I need an aesthetics review because things are starting to get kind of serious for me (getting some airtime) and I don't want to look unprofessional (even though i'm doing everything on my own)
I'll start listening to these and responding as I go down the list! esp. hip hop
>Can someone just tell me how my bandcamp is looking? To be completely honest I don't think I would listen to you on such stylistic alone. Imagery is way too much forced, the covers are okay but that profile pic is crigey as all hell, might as well be posted on some Tumblr girl's blog, you know. Play with some motives, maybe with colours, effects, some subelty.
>epiglottis.bandcamp.com/album/removal Liked Scarcity and Elegy. On Lament and Desolation the interval of repeats was too obvious. Sound was very nice.

Beats were nice. Not into rap so can't say too much about the rest.

This is a passion project of mine that took three years to complete. I'll be looking through this thread for things to listen to instead of sleeping.
If you enjoy acoustic guitar parts akin to Nick Drake or Robbie Basho you may enjoy this.
Nobody said I make "music" in your liking. Sorry you felt the way you did.
Yeah, that's quite true. I think that if I had the chance I would re-record these two then again I think it did nicely either way. Thanks for listening!
Other like-ies: Pretty impressive although you should really consider changing the look of your BC page, it is quite distracting.
Good stuff, simple as that!

fantastic flows my dude. rec
Not my style too much but definitely good.
really good shit. sent you a message on sc with feedback
Really nice stuff dude. XII has a lovely groove to it in places. Only critique is that the kick sound gets overbearing
I remember hearing this few months ago, I liked it a lot, but wanted to relisten it again, and it's even better than what I initially thought of the EP. Recommend this guy, I found him on soundcloud, still think it's one of the more ambitious folk projects here, really well recorded and mixed. Vocals can be hit or miss, but they're mostly spot on. Again, recommend this a lot. A good example of just going all over the place with a lot of UK styles, it's pretty fucking good, definitely flows like it should, not filled with "bangers", but still pretty intense in it's own way, in less obvious ways of course.
Gonna feedback anyone who hasn't gotten anything yet.
Vocal recording quality sounds kinda spotty. First rapper is good but needs less vocal effects, second guy is lacking energy and flow. Keep working on it! Pretty good production, vocal sample effects kinda hurt it though Good composition, lots of interesting parts. Interesting ideas, I like the delayed piano a lot Good stuff, I like the early daft punk sounds you incorporate in Pretty interesting, not really my thing though so I won't say much more. Rec

I think I commented on this one in a previous thread. Either way - I think that the production and the bit is solid but there is very little movement and change in the composition making the whole track tiresome after a while. The vocals are also quite low-energy to my liking but I guess there is little to be done about that.
would go to a gig in someone's basement to/10
already following!
Pretty great, there's something wrong with the mix of the vocals in regards to the music but I can't pinpoint what it is. They seem rather distant and not in the cool way.
Love it when the beat kicks in. You should expand the composition though, it ends too soon after the song really gets into gear.
>75254961 Pretty cool. Props for the Mr. Bungle sample.
My latest album released last week - Clinomania.
Clinomania is a chaotic, confused space filled with melancholy, anger, and dissociative behaviour where powerful drones mix with swirling, luscious synths, glitched audio works, ethereal voices, and sombre piano soundwork.
the music is great, you just need to record it properly (can't heat ANY of the low end, the bass or the kick drum; the guitar tone gets tedious after a while); shame because you sound like a established band, which knows its shit and with a personal sound; fix that asap please!

soundcloud.com/user-752706081/quick-escape I posted this a few times yesterday, but i meant some changes as suggested by the good people of/mu so please give me some more feedback, ill return it on sc.
>Ill try harder next time Really cool tracks, like the switching dynamic of them beeing upbeat but sort of melancholy at the same time. Main problem for me would be the mix, but some people like that raw sound so its just opinion, my fav track is Someone Else. I love the vocal delivery on the 1st verse, but the 2nd verse needs more emotion you know. The beat is tight also, really good track. Always love a nice hard hitting banger, really good shit, adding to my playlist.
