youtube.com
lol that pic is fucking rowdy
Is this better?
Don't have it, since last.fm is more than enough for me.
I have indeed heard Convulsed, very solid band. I know of Sentenced but haven't listened to them.
i thought you typed crowhurst at first fuck
Sentenced's first album is straight up good ol' osdm, while the second one steers more into melodic death metal waters, but I like it more and it's great.
Definitely worth checking out, demos too.
ya
dude
Yeah I'll check those and the demos out, thanks dude.
You ever hear of the NZ band Eviscerate? They only have two demos and no full lengths, but it's really solid OSDM
> Dead Can Dance
again, really good but not metal
did you get lost on your way to /dark/?
Stop smoking
I love how overdriven this album is; distortion so thick and sloughy you can hear the pike fighting against the strings, everything drenched in subtle harmonics. Too dense to breathe.
Anything else this painfully thicc?
/dark/?
sounds familiar but never listened to it, I'll be sure to check the demos out.
thank you for the rec my dude.
too bad they immediately turned into faggoths the following year
/dark/ is a general for all things goth, post-punk, industrial, death rock and such
it's not up atm tho
what's some essential "I can hear the feedback from when the pick hits the strings"-core?
see
And I'll raise a sadly baselessly hated and underrated bm album
obligatory =T= Man0waR =T= post
Why does album art tell you so much about the band?
>Man0waR =T
what did he mean
aesthetics matter
because it's a piece of concept art
...
fucking plebbit
eh at least 3/5 are good
>poison
>death thrash
>not black thrash like Vomitor
I see what you mean
To be fair, the archives also got Poison's genre wrong as death/thrash.
Why did you go there on the first place, tourist?
It IS death thrash, though. Half of 1st wave bm is.
there's a thin line between death/black thrash when it first started, so it's understandable people often mistake the two.
what's some atmospheric war metal? i.e. wide use of shit like church bells
I like Proclamation
Ehh, I'd call it black thrash. It isn't just fast and brutal thrash which most death thrash was at the time and it has more of first wave bm feel to it. As said though, it's a fine line..
