I had them too and I liked them but they didn't last much longer than normal strings. I switched over to the pure nickel wraps and those thing seriously last forever and they really warm up the sound of my Telecaster (vomit).

I wasn't a fan. I tried the 11s only because the regular XL strings were out of stock. It's weird, they're the same tension but they feel a little stretchier. Didn't notice any tone difference or a longer "new string feel" period. And they degrade at about the same level when you're playing live and sweating on the strings a bunch, had a string snap after a few weeks the same as the regular strings. Not worth the extra money

I did notice them being stretchier but i have none snapped and have a heavier gauge than recommended for a floyd rose tremolo and i havent had a single snap. I use the bar alot too. >tfw floyd rose and guitar string snaps >tfw i just need to loosen a saddle and pull some more string then tighten. >wala good as new. Repeat until you run out of extra string.
