Well it's an American genre pretty much.

Brighter Arrows - Dreamliner
These guys releases this in 2013 then kinda vanished. No idea what happened to them or if they're still active, which is weird because we're from the same city.
Good stuff nonetheless
you have great taste my friend
Not the Unwound album I would have picked, but their entire discography is flawless
Q and Not U - No Kill No Beep Beep
also maybe some Botch
Lungs is a gem. Albini says he thinks it's the worst album he ever made but I disagree, I think it's one of his best efforts
bumpo
recently listened through this, thought there were a whole bunch of strong tracks
>obscure
>Any other obscure 8s to 10s in this genre?
>Any other
>other
i thought you meant post-hardcore but then someone posts the fucking swirlies
beefboyz - queefing at palace one
most people have no idea who any of the four bands in op's post are
can anyone suggest more like these? exactly what i'm looking for.
queefing at palace 2 is better
bump
Lungfish - Artificial Horizon
Its not really obscure but I think that Foo Fighter s/t is really an amazing album. Completely underrated and ignored by most fans of the band and by everyone else who has the self respect to not listen to Foo Fighters. Idk if its because it was the only time Grohl wrote with emotion or what but the mood and songwriting hasnt been matched by another album of his ever.

This, Fake Train is literally their worst record but its still great.
idk, man, inclined to give The Colour and The Shape a nod here. It was actually pretty damn good too. A lot more immediate/accessible than most of the recc's here but it's still a fun album.
Also, the s/t and Pocketwatch make for cute listening experiences. In terms of song writing, they're definitely immature but both have infinitely more heart than anything Dave's released since '99.
The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower
>Q and Not U - No Kill No Beep Beep
Seconded so hard
Is the rest of their discography worth checking out?
I have been browsing the sharethreads for a while, people usually put good stuff in there.
I also follow a noise bot on twitter, puts great and obscure stuff from all over the world ranging from Post-Punk to Harsh Noise. Lots of Post-Hardcore in the middle.
Some other stuff:
Lowercase - Kill the Lights
Cream Abdul Babar - Excavation (It's from 2004, but a compilation of their 90s stuff)
Silkworm - In the West
