based on my experiences only.
check out your basal metabolic calorie consumption by visiting a gym or nutritionist(not sure if they do this). Online calculators can be off by a few hundred calories which is precious to losing weight. I was 190lbs and the online calc gave me like 2800 cal needed daily to sustain my weight but the actual device said i need like 1900lb. Idk who is right but my bets are on the device because 2800 cal is too much for me. Avoid carbs (it's okay to eat a bit of starch like potatoes but sugar is a no go), eat protein, and reduce fat to minimal levels especially the bad kinds. Also count calories and eat greek yogurt as it feels you up.
Find a friend who is as motivated to take you to the gym. Do cardio and weight training. Weight training is as important and once u start lifting, it like changes your mentality also builds muscle which improves metabolism . You will look like a fat fuck in the beginning but you will feel like a chad. Ban buzzfeed tasty videos (because buzzfeed amirite? jk u dont hae to) and all food related videos and watch gym fitness workouts and schedules. This shit gets you hyped and motivated. Consult a trainer and go like 4 times a week. Remember fat is like 3200 cal/lb so if you burn like 400 cal and reduce your daily consumption by a deficit of 400 cal you will lose more than a pound a week.
Consult professionals before doing anything. Too many memers out there who claim to have PhDs in fitness by benching 1 plate..
Also the main thing: weightloss is a marathon not a race.

1. Stop eating all the greasy fast food shit you eat. If you're a picky eater like me strip shit down to fundamentals : steak and potatoes with a small cup of steamed veggies - force those fucks out.
2. Cut out soda and sugary drinks. Drink plenty of water (especially before eating) as it will help curb your appetite.
3. Do some cardio. Join a kickboxing class so you can get thinner and man the fuck up maybe if you get punched/kicked hard enough.
4. Die so none of this is a problem anymore. Hope this helps.
Keto, low carb/moderate protein/high fat (the good kind, don't go running around eating fried chicken and fried stuff) it will work 100% usually they to like 10% carbs/ 20-25% protein and fill the rest with healthy fats. lets put it simply mate: STOP eating like a baby with money, start looking at food as fuel for ur bod, and do an exercise that isn't boring to you (boxing + swimming are good ones). at the start of your diet, eat something like a pizza once a week, then stretch it to every two weeks, and keep expanding the stretch, and be a man and stick to it for a long time.
Dont eat anything except for leaves and water. do this for two months.

Fat fag here, seriously do this. I was close to 300lbs, fasted for 2 days during summer just to see if I could. It surprised how it wasn't that hard. Then I got up to 1 week, then I went 13 days and after that I tried again and only got to 11. Only drank water. The second day the hunger pangs kick in and last until mid 3rd day, after that you may get headaches, day 4-8 are really easy. Only mild discomfort when you're moving around too much, just stay hydrated. After that each day you'll feel more and more tired and nauseous until you start hallucinating and feel aches all over. That's when I stopped.
It taught me alot about the difference between cravings, appetite, and legit hunger, also when I started to eat again I would start off slow with vegetables and fruits and they tasted so fucking good. Overeating makers everything except greasy and sugary taste bland. Eat less, drink water, only eat when your stomach starts grumbling not when you just have a craving. Trust me
