Let's dispel with this notion that Donald Drumpf knows what he's doing. He has no idea what the fuck he's doing.
He literally just stumped his own campaign to death, because he couldn't keep his mouth mouth on two occasions, one of which was after he had a day to prepare his statements with his advisers and which his staff had tried to set up for him by leaking information to the media that he was just joking.

Even if you idiots want to argue that he was secretly helping to keep Hillary's campaign alive through the primary, he could have done it without torpedoing his own campaign like this.
