How do you stop an existential crisis ?

how do you stop an existential crisis ?

Stop existing.

Fuck some hookers

Realise that your are not alone because we all share this feeling.

Realise that whatever you do doesn't matter. In another 200 years no one will remember that you even walked on this planet called Earth.

The gift of life is what you make of it. If you want to spend it browsing Sup Forums fair enough.

Try something new.

Create goals for yourself.

Stop watching porn.

i started making up stories.
I could probably write 8 or 9 books of Tolkien length. and doesn't include all the little stories in between.

at least 4 major universes as expansive as Tolkien probably more and dozen or so minor ones for one shots and some with just not as much detail.

Too apathetic to write any of them out though.

Been wanting to kill myself since i was 10. Wanted to wait till 16, so i could have fun dicking around at school with friends. 23 years later and if i'm not working on a story in my head, i'm thinking of how much life is pointless, and the various reative ways i could kill myself.

You are only alive because two people fucked. You became who you are because of your life you lived, and no one will ever really understand why.

You will die unless the opportunity comes to digitize yourself.

The only meaning to life is the one you assign yourself and commit to. For most, it is breeding.

realize you're not special

You don't. It stops you.

Insert penis into vagina, live for raising children

real question. whats "growing up"? thats such a vague statement.

"If people looked at the stars each night, I'd bet that they'd live considerably more different -- once you look into infinity, you get a good sense of how small things really are." Our sun. Our home planet, Earth. You. People often look at these elements of the universe, and somehow it makes them feel insignificant. I wish people would consider this life thing to be more valuable. More valuable than the time which limits its experience. We know so little of the universe, but one thing is certain - it is undeniably beautiful. Isn't the ability to just experience this more profound than the black hole at the center of our own galaxy? More profound than the largest galaxy in the universe? More profound than the cosmos itself? We are all beautiful arrangements of dust and gas, occupying space and time, making choices, falling in love, reading, writing, thinking, stealing, murdering, hurting. With beauty, something must be ugly. For without ugliness, the beautiful parts of life would become dull. Unenthralling. And that, in itself, is beautiful in its own way. A strange, but beautiful way. I would never try to do something ugly to this planet or anyone trying to experience life, but ugliness is necessary to make something beautiful. We may need to remember that from time to time. To encourage us to not dwell on the little things. To truly admire ourselves, our insignificance, and our significance.

CHIM

Exercise fixes all mental crisis's.

Alcohol and stop thinking, allow your ego to take over.

you can do it by changing your perspective. how do you do this? There are several ways.

my personal recommendation is to try LSD and then think deeply about your existence

if you ever get lost, just go investigate buddhism and specifically zen buddhism and you can find all of your answers.

also, if you are looking for a good "teacher", go buy a book or audibook from Alan Watts.
