Also, since I refuse to start playing for people irl, I think I'm gonna start posting shit like covers or live takes of my songs on youtube. That's kinda like playing live right? If for some reason anyone wants to request something or another I'd probably do it. Anyways here's a mediocre Sufjan cover for anyone curious.

And to the QOTD, probably my guitar work stuff. Not that I do anything too
complex but it probably is what I enjoy working on the most.

throwin a recc to the king of gloom.
already gave my thoughts on this but its a cute song, still recc'd. I should listen to y'alls other stuff.
JUST INCLUDE LYRICS DOGNABBIT. WHY ARE SSO MANY PEOPLE JUST OKAY WITH NOBODY BEING ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY'RE SAYING.

but otherwise I do like this. Honestly I think the melodies and instrumentation are too good to be hidden behind the dreamy/reverby production. These would sound really great as just straight indie rock/pop songs, I'm not sure what is really gained by obscuring it all like that but to each their own I suppose.

You have some legit album art, and I listened to one of your albums while I was working the other day; it was really relaxing and nice. Keep it up my man.

williambennetthasnodick.bandcamp.com/album/saint-joseph-the-drunk
i threw this shitty noise ep together from pre-existing recordings and other shit i salvaged

All of my music is basically writing scripts so I guess most of my time is spent thinking about algorithm ideas. most of the time my scripts run fairly quickly but the opening track to t-Projection took 30 hours to create on a laptop with an i3 chip

One of my BC faves. Indifference is a hauntingly beautiful track.

Gorgeous voice. Well thought out pop sensibilities, and the lyrics are aching.

All You Do is a well attended album, solid with no padding or filler. Unfazed is my favorite track.

Definitely in my personal top ten for albums of 2017, I look forward to your follow up.

Getting John Fahey vibes from this. The acoustic guitar work is unimpeachable.

Tangible Rays

My latest single from my next LP:

growhouse.bandcamp.com/track/eurydice

>shoegaze
>dream pop

QOTD: My main focus is the vocal melody. I structure everything around it. I put the most time and effort into melodies.

>Gorgeous voice. Well thought out pop sensibilities, and the lyrics are aching.

Thank you!!!

your single is very cool, very interesting for shoegaze and dream pop, reminds me of some of the best aspects of the early 2010s chillwave scene as well with some of the synths and pitch bends, you definitely have something different than most, really interesting textures, vocals fit well

>You have some legit album art, and I listened to one of your albums while I was working the other day; it was really relaxing and nice. Keep it up my man.

Thanks a lot. It's really nice to hear that.

Your stuff sounds little like this

>Getting John Fahey vibes from this. The acoustic guitar work is unimpeachable.

Thanks m8ey, I'm a big fan of Fahey and american primitive stuff in general, so I'm glad that's coming through.

I liked your single, it's a pretty interesting take on that dream poppy kind of stuff, there's a bouncey kind of uplifting energy to it that I never really hear come from that genre (though I'm not too well versed in it to begin with). It's funny, I kind of feel like this is what Dan Barrett would make if he wasn't so miserable all the time. At the very least your vocals remind me a lot of his.

>Post punk bullshit, who knows
QOTD: I think almost exclusively about live performance at this point and how to properly leave an impression on an audience, though we are building a new set so I imagine that that will start to shift in the coming months.

I like this song, very relaxed, very well put together. I do think that it could begin to build a little more, maybe expanding on the instrumentation in the future would be a good path. But overall very nice

This is nice. A little too reverb drenched maybe, it kind of starts to clutter things but that could be fixed easily with some creative eqing

Thank you! We definitely want to start expanding things

It's rare to find someone "known" in this threads, big fan since 2015!

This is great, bookmarked

As other people said, very nice album art.

thanks for listening boys!
yeah, its gloomy af. checking your stuff now!

I have a feeling your next album is gonna blow Seance out of the water

A good tune and good performances but the mix and production is a little too clean for my taste.

I love this kind of indie pop. Awesome guitar tones, clean and shiny effects, and good mixing. Reminds me of Lotus Plaza. Great stuff!

Very interesting project! Keep doing what you're doing.

Thank you it means a lot! I'm a fan of what you do and I'm looking forward to the next LP.

come on guys its saturday night, we all know none of you have lives.

saw you posted this in another thread as well and have enjoyed listening both times:) i love the production style

Its funny I was considering maybe dropping that song cause I thought it might be thought of as filler but I liked it so I kept it in, glad it has a fan. Thanks, great stuff btw

Handmade CDs (and limited cassettes soon) are available.
For the fans of The Goslings, Ramleh, Merzbow, Les Rallizes Dénudés

Comfy, cleanly mixed, but sadly not memorable
I liked It's Nice Out more, I never liked drum machines in shoegaze, I want the drums to fucking explode like The Microphones
Divine reverb
This is sooo pleasant, this is how dreampop/shoegaze should sound.

A bit of everything to be honest we don't really have a focus outside of making music that we personally enjoy, although mixing and mastering will probably be something to put effort into for the LP.
REC
Not really into harsh noise but that one 30 second vocal track was funny
HUGE REC
Very nice guitar compositions
Like the tone your going for, only thing id say is definitely keep working on vocals cause you have a nice voice
