I haven't been here since 2007, hell it's been
way over 10 years.
So tell me, what has changed? Also what happened to Nurse-Kun with amputee-chan?

It's all Sup Forumstards, trap threads, and wwyd. Almost no originality except really late at night (US time). I mean, Sup Forums has always been terrible in some sense, but now it's bad *and* dull.
That's unfortunate
I used to see some weird shit back here
Now it's all gay porn.
For good old fashioned Sup Forumstard stupidity, can sometimes be amusing. is almost Sup Forums-ish in some ways. But there's no direct equivalent to Sup Forums of old. (I miss 2004-era Sup Forums, myself.)
Gosh, disappointing to say the least. I miss all the memes.
When did that term became so mainstream anyway?
Anyway, did nurse Kun ever provide us with an update, I remember that saga
shii.bibanon.org
Memes and Sup Forums and whatnot started getting pretty damned mainstream around 2007-2010, IIRC; viz icanhazcheeseburger et al which paved the way for funnyjunk and 9gag and all that shit.
that duck is facing the wrong way.
My apologies; perhaps this video will make it up to you. youtube.com
LOL I remember duckroll.
That's a meme I haven't heard of in a while
There's all sorts of memes that are lost to the sands of time. But Pepperidge Farms remembers! youtube.com
Flashback. I haven't really been up to date with all this. Living like a monk takes you out of eveything
Back then not everyone txtd
One of the reasons the memes have petered out, IMO, is that there are now a whole lot of other places like Sup Forums out there; it's no longer the central stomping grounds for people with a brain. Same thing happened with/to USENET in the 90s.
I spent the past ten years living in a cabin cut off from the internet. Helped detox
Radio am stations are good
I agree. Some neat stuff there.
I used to mess around with FTA satellites, you can pick up weird signals
I just got into podcasting, you can find some good stuff. there is a ton of content.
You mess around with any of the SDR stuff? You can get a USB TV tuner and hack it into receiving a surprisingly large set of frequency ranges.
I haven't first I'm hearing about it actually.
Is there anywhere I can find out more about this?

Neat, man there is a lot of cool stuff out there. I'm getting a raspberry pi.
If you don't need all the original Pi hat/GPIO expansion stuff, check out the RPi W Zero; it has built in wireless, so it's one less thing you have to screw around with, and it's like $10.
>RPi W Zero
That's exactly what I wanted, something simple and built in. Can't beat ten bucks. goddamn
Thanks Sup Forumsro
No problem. Don't forget the power supply or the other cables like HDMI or USB OTG; it'd suck to get your shiny new toy and then have to wait for more parts to arrive. adafruit and sparkfun and whatever have all-in-one kits (or at least mention what else you're likely to need.)
